I have continued to rest today.
only jobs done have been three loads of washing done and on the line.I have faffed about on my phone, with my diary and watched TV while the children played around my feet.
there is plenty time tomorrow for housework in the morning and then sewing in the afternoon as the boys visit their other family. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
Sorry missing in action.
life has just been rather full on and the boys keep running my phone battery down leaving the torch on!
I have been rather low, as I ran out of my antidepressant, hoping that I can collect today.
Have 50 masks on order again now.
No peace for the wicked. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.3 -
Savvy, I hope you are able to get your meds restarted soon and that you feel more positive as a result. It's not difficult!

I hope you can get some more meds today, S_s. With all that you've had going on, it's not surprising your prescription was forgotten! Wishing you better soon.2

So the black dog has come riding in with the thunderstorms and the dark skies.
dgd has admitted to pulling out her hair when I thought it was possible alopecia. I have been in touch with the school nurse and her head of year and they are trying to get her back to cahms and she has a referral to Time to Talk. I have been peddling like mad under water, while trying to glide like a swan above it.
I have been busy with masks and making a shirt the last two days.
There are so many things needing or grappling for my attention.
I don't know what to think, what I am doing next but I know that I need to change.
I would normally have had a holiday by now, and one at least due soon.
I would like to wave my magic wand and get back to the positive and goal chasing me.
I am going to get a pen, and do a brain storm. See if I can get some clarity.
I am due to go for physio for my hand, and I see that the letter from the hospital to my gp states that I have a rotational deformity in my middle finger along with swelling and a volar plate injury.
so I think I am going to have to consider taking a sabbatical from the job for a while.I am going to have to brain storm about all of this, what it means now and in the future.
I may be some time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.5 -
I don't understand why you have taken on such a large order for masks after saying you were struggling and were advised by others to drop the work until things at home were more settled . DGD seems to have major issues which seem to have surfaced since the boys have arrived before that it was minor issues but it seems from what you have said that each incident is more serious I really do wonder what the effect of having these boys and their father is having on this child and wether you can sustain a reasonable life for any of these children in the current circumstances anyway just observations hope your physio goes well4

Well I may agree with some of the above but SS thought at the time she was doing the right thing.
But it takes a big person to acknowledge when they have made a mistake and need help.
yes, there's a lot of collateral damage going on and hard decisions lie ahead.
it sounds really bad because normally SS is so optimistic even in the face of trouble.
I hope a resolution Can be found.Norn Iron Club member 4734
