  • If staying for a month or more in Vegas, you can save money with a short-term house rentals.
How do you work that out? Who from the UK stays in Vegas for more than a month?
  • It's just a spammer @jonesMUFCforever ... mind you, I'd stay for more than a month if I can clear it with my boss  :

It was spam, but I know someone who stays more than a month at a time , maybe twice a year , she used to frequent this board a lot

I think that would be me and the OH, we used to go for 6 weeks twice a year and never bothered with a short term house rental. Too much faff with deposits and they weren't as cheap as you might think.
Our last planned trip was April 8th for 6 weeks, but it obviously didn't happen. Would have been one of our cheapest yet for accommodations if it had gone ahead.

Wynn buffet has closed down - https://loyaltylobby.com/2020/09/06/wynn-las-vegas-resorts-are-shutting-down-their-buffet-again-other-hotels-to-follow/?omhide=true

Who on here is next to visit Vegas then?

We have optimistically booked again for next August - whether it happens, I have no idea! 🤞🏻

Well, i am going end of this month :D:D:D:D: D :D:D;);)
and booked for June (flights) next year (strangely, i can book comp rooms with MGM / Caesars for June next year already !)
  • There are some decent deals out there despite us Northeners having to travel to Heathrow or Gatwick for direct flights.
Recently priced up 10 days from Gatwick to Excalibur next June for less than the price of flights we paid last year (I know the resort fees would be on top.
Also noticed that MLife Facebook game rewards now allow you to 'buy' $100 Freeplay with a 3 night stay at most MGM properties.

Just curious how you're getting around the ESTA restrictions. I check regularly, and UK, Ireland and most of the Schengen area are still prohibited from travel as far as I can see. Is the ESTA website not being kept up to date?
