We are covered for our April trip to Vegas and our March trip to Spain. (Still in Spain) and they say they will cover our medication expenses until we can safely get home. Current rescue flights are a joke. Nationwide insurance recommended we wait for direct flights back to our airport of origin. Foreign office/ British embassy are wanting us to go ALC - BCN - LHR  and then get public transport back home. The insurance rightly said we should not risk that as long as we have a safe place to stay in Spain. We both have health/age limitations.

    Sorry for going off topic.

No offence but are you expecting the UK government to charter a special flight just to get you back to your airport of choice?
    can not see that happening

    typo ! :D:D:wink:
    I meant 29th Sep ! :dizzy:

we fly into San Fran (me, mate and my dad) for our annual road trip to Vegas....
Think i best build a few ideas, as either way, we plan to make use of the comps for the last 4 nights in Vegas, so out of the 8 night trip, i gotta look at options for 2 days road, 1 night in Laughlin (that was a cool fun night last year), 1 in old town, then the 4 on strip....

But given the situ, i do wonder what it will be like! Given we normally use the pool all day, and then gamble/drink/socialise by night! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!

My May holiday (VA airmile flight), tickets for me/wifey got changed to open tickets....
The September flights are booked via netflights, so i hope on both accounts, Branson pumps some of his money into the airline! :D

well, fingers crossed for me, you and anyone else on here, we all get to go!
gonna be different and slightly weird, but we need that sense of normality to get back into the swing of things! :D
(and i need a suntan, some ribs, hooters wings and ideally some wins! :D:D  )

Can't believe how many You tube videos of slot play and walk throughs I have watched in last 5 weeks -LOL
It will certainly be different on next trip - my main concern at the moment is what airports will be like - if you arrive say 4 hours before your flight but you still can't get through airport security because of social distancing etc what happens??

Heard on the radio yesterday that if social distancing has to happen at airports. 1 jumbo jet queue would be 1km long  :o

Some interesting detail (and speculation) here https://thepointsguy.co.uk/news/las-vegas-reopening-after-coronavirus/ on what Vegas 're-opened' could look like including:
    - Thermal cameras on entry to resorts
    - Slot machines spaced out, 3 player maximums per table
    - Shows running less frequently / cancellations
    - Self serve buffets ruled out in the medium term
    - More incentives from casino's to get us to go
