hi
and thanks for the info stuieuk34, i thought it was that it was 11months, but wasn't too sure.
at the moment I am in the planning stage .
at the moment sorta looking at mid april 13-20th april, lhr-vegas direct with virgin prem economy.,coming in at £682 (can get a ba flight down to heathrow via ba, with laggage for about £35 if i recall)
has anyone used virgin prem econ? good-bad?
If i then booked via either Mlife-smartervegas would i be getting Mlife points-tier credits like instantly? i guess when i looked it was around $1000 for a grand king room though going solo(mgm grand)....$1000x 25...would get me upto pearl status,(gotta love the buffet line pass!)
Just not seeing any comps via Mlife at the moment, though i do understand it has been shut, was hoping they d maybe offer something from jan next year! lol
was hoping to do my flights...sorta wait to see if I did get any comps via mlife..maybe wait a few weeks,if not search for the best..ok cheapest deal about ! and go with whomever was cheapest/value for money.
any advice most welcome0 -
I'm too at the start of the planning stage ;
1 Persuade OH that we want to go back to Vegas - seems to be working so far judging by the You tube videos we are watching.
2 Not booking anything until ESTA's are open to visitors again.
3 Looking at indirect from Dublin or direct from LHR now that it seems all direct flights from MAN have gone.
4 Mlife is offering me 4 nights free at either Luxor or Excalibur with just those nasty resort fees to pay.(With $100 resort credit and $100 Freeplay). We have stayed at both before and would not hesitate to return.
5 OH also has Mlife card and she is getting 3 nights offer (She always forgets to put her card in the slots LOL) - maybe try to join these together (if that's possible?).
6 ..And for now that's as far as I have got...1 -
Really sorry but I can't be bothered reading the entire thread and the search function is worse than useless. Myself and the the important one are going in November (hopefully, it's looking good so far) and want to do the Canyon.
Does anyone have recommendations as to the best company to use for a tour? I would love to do a helicopter tour and am more concerned with, as our American cousins would say, bang per buck than headline price. In other words which is the best way to see a big hole without a big hole in the finances?0 -
good post, like it!

The latest rumour/bit of news/might happen/might not happen to come from Vegas.

Take it out of the resort fee, they charge enough.
Btw, I've not watched them yet, but I've seen a few news clip descriptions on YT that says Vegas is opening on the 4th June.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

yeah, gonna be weird playing blackjack surrounded by perspex !!
I wonder if Laughlin will just put place cards on the tables to say "no more than 3 per table" ! cheaper than perspex!
i rotored us in for 2 nights in Laughlin (end Sep), so will be interesting to see how this all pans out....
and yes, sounding confident, travel for us brits to the US should be OK in Sep onwards, probably even august.....

Looks like you will have to ask for tomato sauce & vinegar if you go to eat.
No mention of being surrounded by perspex if you want to play cards eitherBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
