Same here Stuie, our flights were cancelled last week for end of May. Spent a while on the phone getting new flights booked, only as we're using one of the 241 vouchers with BA. Hotel and car rental already refunded. But no rush to re-book, taking our time to enjoy the new countdown of 145 days until Vegas, as opposed to 25 daysStuieUK34 said:i wont be going now next month

Our flights were Virgin airmile flights, so although they are supposedly converted to open tickets, with the news surrounding virgin at the mo, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!!!
Just hope the flights we got booked for end of Sep still go ahead, fingers crossed!

Just seen a post on facebook, someone has had a flight to Vegas on 4th Sep cancelled by their TA they were flying with United from Edinburgh, no explanation but they have had a refund1

My husband just mentioned that post too! It sounds early though, so wonder if it is a different reason? When I spoke to BA, the agent mentioned that flights up until the end of May have been cancelled from their side.photome said:Just seen a post on facebook, someone has had a flight to Vegas on 4th Sep cancelled by their TA they were flying with United from Edinburgh, no explanation but they have had a refund0 -
Sorry to hear that some of you aren't going to be visiting LV in the near future.
I've been watching YT videos about the situation over there, and this fella does almost daily updates.
This is one that he's done about the Wynn/Encore plans to reopen. I don't know if anybody has already seen it, but here it is for you to look at. The chap does quite a few informative videos.

United has cancelled the entire season from Edinburgh, doesn't necessarily mean there will be no flights to the US by September, but I fear the US will be one of the later countries to welcome us back, despite being one of the first to stop us travelling at the beginning3

There has been no announcement to say they are lifting the ban on UK travellers. Not even a whisper.I’d think long and hard about travelling to the USA this month.1

Agreed even if the ban is lifted this month ( unlikely), no way would I be travelling, guessing no travel insurance is going to cover Covid at the mo , so you could end up stuck in the US with a huge medical billpebblesmax said:There has been no announcement to say they are lifting the ban on UK travellers. I think it’s feasible to be covered. My nationwide bank account insurance does (and does for any trips booked pre-March). I will strongly be considering whether cash outlay outweighs likely enjoyment of experience when the time comes for us though.photome said:pebblesmax said:There has been no announcement to say they are lifting the ban on UK travellers.
