Thanks for the advice - I’ll hang tight for now and maybe try and get in touch with Expedia to see what their plans are. Appreciate your help and hope this all works out well for you too. 

We have 70 days to go, although I have just read that some experts expect the travel ban to last until May or even June. All we can do is wait and see

If you are after good deals in business in particular, I recommend  you follow Flyertalk, Head for Points and Turning Left for Less. It may take a bit of navigating at first though, so don't be surprised if you at first feel a bit overwhelmed For economy flights, Secret Flying on Facebook is another good source. 
@stoneman Hope you are not affected by the travel ban ex Schengen. Husband and I were super tempted to book the same deal. But as we have our flights booked already for May, we didn't in the end. 73 days until we go! 

It’s not till August, I’m more worried about the cruise in June

I know a bit off topic, but I highly recommend Pinch of Nom cook books. I think we're off to Vegas (hopefully!!!) around the same time as you are. Right no, preparing for the worst and hope for the best!

Just to let others know we were supposed to go to NY this  Wednesday but BA has informed us the flights/holiday is cancelled, no problems as we could not enter the US of A but this morning I have received an e-mail from homeland security saying our ESTA,s are changing to pending, they were approved on jan 22 nd.

hope everyone is doing ok and are not been badly effected,if you have i have my  fingers crossed for you!
.the thread seems a lil quiet (though understandable) 
I was thinking bout vegas and its attraction to me, i guess i think of it as like an adult  atomosphere/theme park for example, having  some gambling time BEFORE going outside for some sunshine  or  going to a show, or walking  to new york to paris   or to italy (in the sense new york new york to  the paris  and the belleagio!)
or the chance to win  big  from a buck !

so  what attracts you to vegas?
