I’m at level 2 now. I’m 3500 crowns away from level 3 with about 16 days to go. Should be able to achieve level 3 with around a $25 spend just before the end of the earning period.

I think there may well be a big backlash from this and the developers do another update to reduce the damage. If not, it was good while it lasted. Between us we have had 8 nights already and have 7 nights booked for May. Hopefully, the calendar for Oct/Nov/Dec will be out soon so that we can use our remaining gems up while we are level 3.
Hope you are right but I think they know what they are doing,  There is no point playing the game to get VIP points any more as they are almost worthless. I think everyone will need to pay to get to level 3 and only once you have enough gems.  Was hoping to get a couple more nights on wife’s account but she is only level 1 so not worth it when we have comp nights elsewhere

I’m doing the events to get what few crowns they are giving out and hoping to reach our goal of 4 nights each in the meantime. I’ve only got 9 Bn and the OH has 7 Bn. Should be enough to get a few gems towards my goal.

The Wynn app game is now basically a “pay to stay” game.
While the upgrade was vicious, it is still a great deal.Where else can you get 4 nights in a 5 star hotel with a few buffets thrown in for £200...providing you have enough gems of course.
We have a 3 night stay there next month, and I am maxed out on gems @ 25k.
I had around 27 billion in coins when I maxed out on gems, so should have just stopped playing. But after the upgrade I figured I’d be lucky to even use up the 25k gems, so stupidly went into the high roller room.Blew through all 27b and now have no coin at all.
No desire to collect any more either.
We will have 4 nights at the end of our west coast trip in October, so plan to book 4 nights when dates come out after our March stay.
I could pay less than £100 to reach level 3 now, before reset, but you never know how they may alter the game going forward. So I will only book for October when I am within 180 of end of trip.I will have to pay £200 odd then, but I will know my dates will be available for sure, and I will be able to add a few buffets during the stay.
£200 for 4 nights with 6 buffets between us is still a great deal.
Only got the Coronavirus to worry about now, I have compromised immune system due to medication, so not very good at fighting infectious diseases off.

I’m the same with the Coronavirus worry. Immune suppressed due to medication and nothing I can do about it. Just hoping the situation improves before we go in April.

I have my first trip of the year coming up in a week. Hoping all this Corona Virus hysteria doesn't affect anything!

I am sorry but this is not hysteria but a world wide pandamic virus that has killed many people.

We can agree not to agree.

Yes this epidemic is awful however the media circus that has caused wild panic is not good hence the term hysteria.

Please let’s not forget the substantially higher number of people that have died world wide in the same time period from various viruses such as the much more common flu.

I’m a police Officer for my day job. In the last week alone I have dealt with a group of teenage Chinese boys that have all been badly assaulted purely because of their ethnicity- the suspects naively believed they must have brought the virus from China.

I’ve been called to a business that were trying to forcibly send staff members home due to one sneezing once and another with a mild cold- they must have corona virus. No.

And finally the media panic causing supermarkets having shelves cleared. I have been to people injured fighting for items in addition to staff members calling police due to violent people in stores. Again down to the media.

I’m aware I’ve gone off on a tangent here and am venting somewhat.

I simply hope my much needed holiday is unaffected. Let’s remember that the majority of people that catch this virus will make a full recovery. The media causing people to think this is the end of the world really aren’t helping...

Ok OK I did say we were getting past the lure of Vegas but this COVD-19 panic has meant that airlines are fighting for our money. So much so that we have booked Paris-LAS in business for £1K each on American in August. All the perks of BA silver without having to st foot on one of their planes, win win.
Just waiting now for the myvegas calendar to show August dates to see what's available.
Found a really good deal for Flamingo, £384 for 9 nights all resort fees and taxes included, now only if they had a washing machine.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
