Evening all,
Blimey Roxie looks like you have lots of support out there with the large target for saving - it's great! Hi all!!
As for me, had day off work and loved every minute. Went out for afternoon tea with girls and Lady Annabel - friends new baby girl. Went to a lovely place in New Forest called Rhinefield House. Needless to say the diet went out of the window - cakes, scones etc and champagne. It was a special occassion, 30th bday celebration. Back on it tomorrow as really feel bloated now.
Daisy - think I lack in the old veg. I will make the effort to get on in and do something about it. I have brought some salad at tescos tonight and am going to try and add a side salad here and there with meals. Also brought some apples and kiwi fruits in an attemp to add to the five a day.
It's great that so many are saving lots on here. I am too but don't have nearly as much to put away at the end of month after my dmp payment and other outgoings but I am going to try my hardest to put in the overtime and save where I can to pay off the debts sooner rather than later.
Hope everyone is having a nice evening xx0 -
morning all.
still feeling a bit bummed about yesterday but I wouldn't have wanted to go down to london to do it anyway so there's no point getting too peed about it
ate yesterday -
brekkie - 2 wholemeal toast/butter
emergency snacks - 2 shortbread, 1 small piece cake
lunch - bowl of pasta with parmesan
dinner - chilli tortilla wraps - 2
exercise - the davina :T
managed not to snack or drink wine last night thou - which is good as normally I'd have used the excuse of being abit peed off.

Afternoon,
How you getting on with that ironing?
Having a mare of a day today. A got terrible cough and needless to say I was awake most of the night. Bless him poor love had to leave at 6am this morning for work. So, really tired today and to top that have a heavy workload so looks as if I am going to be working a late one this evening.
Phoned agents today and the company they use have not got back re references so still waiting to hear about flat, that's annoyed me. Generally an annoying day.
Have also had to cancel my holiday to the Lakes next week as it's my nans funeral. Don't get me wrong there was no doubt in my mind that I would cancel it but I was also really looking forward to going away with A as he is away for 2 weeks in May and would have been nice to spend some quality time together beforehand. Never mind, Nan is far more important, not looking forward to it to be honest.
Having me a long lunch break and getting some bits done about the flat. Have sorted a wash load, finished washing up etc from dinner last night. Want it nice and tidy by time A home from work so he can just relax as still feeling quite poorly when I spoke to him earlier and is very tired!
Have to get my backside into gear as spent loads yesterday - had me a bit of a shopping morning and ended up with handbag, sunglasses, 2 cardi's and pair of trousers. What is wrong with me???? then on top of that a champage afternoon tea etc. Must re-evalute my finances and things. Annoyed with myself!
Right enough yapping, back to work!0 -
hey - sorry to hear bout your nan. sucks that you have to cancel your hol thou.
re the spending - did you need new sunglasses, trousers, cardis?? if so, you would have bought them at some point - and best to buy sunnies at the beginning of sunny season as I always lose mine over the winter!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Thanks Roxie.
I did need all the things purchased yesterday and if I am honest probably long overdue - I very rarely spend money on clothes etc. Probably need far more and will have to buy some bits again soon coming up to the summer months so I guess it's not too bad.
I really hate money though, I am trying hard to pay off this debt and I know the £787 I pay through my dmp is quite a large sum but I wish I could pay off more. Hence trying to save along side with overtime etc. I think I will have to wait until move is done and then I can reassess things and try and pay more off through my dmp.
Hope you are having a good day and feel a bit better after yesterday. How do you feel about the old password things with D? Hope it's passed, must say though I would be thinking the same as you! xx0 -
i'm still peed off but what can i do?? so infuriating thou..MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Well today has been absolutely rubbish on the diet front - really gone to pot. Think a lot of it is comfort eating, emotional stuff but aiming to get right back on it tomorrow. Just can't summon the energy, so much going on and work is so busy.
Well done on the eating today - that's really great! Know what you mean about the old drinking, could easily down a bottle of vino tonight! A in bed trying to catch up on his sleep from last night, I can't even think about sleeping at the minute. Far too awake!
Right gonna watch some tv and chill out. Have a nice evening x0
