Ah, can send by email so thats much better! Gives me a day or so's grace.

trying depserately to keep the kids occupied - which means spending money unfortuantely:o Spend £30 on 2 scooters and also spent £10 in blockbuster on 5 kids dvds/popcorn etc.

we had a movie day today which was good fun. Then tomo we're off to park on scooters - so thats one week down, one to go!

does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of 'baby belly'. I really want to get rid of my gut but sit ups dont seem to be doing the job!

I got the baby belly without the babies unfortunately. Pilates exercises do help. I've been scared to do sit-ups ever since reading a few years ago that if you use the 'wrong muscles' to come up, you'll make your belly bulgier than ever. This may be complete nonsense of course.

no you are right tut - I read that too - its esp bad after having a baby as the muscles are weaker. However, I have a friend who was forever doing situps when we were in our teens - she was obsessed with ahving a flat stomach - and she is childless and a size 8 yet still has a 'bum' belly from doing too many situps! teehee - so there is abit of justice in the world!

the way i got rid of mine was to have a tummy tuck - not very MSE tho !!

have the time after babies its excess flesh and no amount of diet will reduce that - also if your muscles are weak or even seperated after babies or wieght gain and loss you will never have a flat tummy

now however you pay a highly trained surgeon lots of money and a flat tummy can be had :) sorry this prob doesnt help

google mummy tummy exercises - they will help :)

boo - i want a flat tummy. how come celebs have flat tummies after giving birth but its impossible for mere mortals!!

took the kids out today which meant spending more money - went on their scooters to the park (free) but then got some chips and let them chose a magazine each. I know, I'm a sucker! Just desperately trying to keep them occupied!z They're at the kitchen table cutting and sticking at the minute - long may it last!

Found a great way to get veg into the kids - risotto! Made an easy one yesterday, just bunging brocolli, asparagus, peas and sweetcorn in the rice - put parmasan on top et voila! Thye ate veg they'll never normally touch with a barge pole. And it was quite a cheapy meal - prob about £5 inc the asparagus which was £2 alone.

Have managed to lose half a stone throu illness alone :j - although not done any exercise for ages due to feeling rough. however, i'v got a friend coming round tonight for pizza and dale taking me for dinner for our anniversary tomo so I can see it being a v fatty weekend!

Had a lovely catch up with my friend last night - thou drank and ate too much!

It's our anniversary technically tomo but as we're going out for a meal tonight we've exchanged gifts. Mine was a cheque from dale for 365£ ("one for every day you've made me the happiest husband in the world" - awwww) and instructions to go on a shopping spree. Now this leaves me with a dilemma - lovely lovely thought but should I be putting it in our savings account instead. He wouldn't want me to, and part of me thinks I should grab an opportunity to treat myself to new clothes with both hands - it doesnt come that often. but on the other hand £365 is a lot of money!
