Must admit I agree with Daisy...very envious of you....A has been moody sod past few days and doesn't make things easier given he is off at work and won't be back til early hours and then sleep all day, get up go to work and so on and so on.....
Feeling pretty good about myself as stuck to diet for 2 days and managed some form of exercise for the past 3 days. Today went for a 15min swim at lunch and just finished my salsacise dvd (new one) it was great fun and a great workout on the old hips and legs - aching like mad!
Evening alone for me again....might plan my meals for tomorrow to stop me eating rubbish.
Enjoy your lovely chilled day :-)0 -

Aah poor you, hope you are feeling much better now. Typical though on the day that you plan on chilling with OH.
Having a pants weekend and have resulted to chocolate...been so good too!!
Yesterday spent the day in London at the Vitality show with little sis. Had a great day, ladies that lunch etc and then when I got home Andy was up and talking on phone which was unsual seen as he actually only got home from work that morning. Anyhow, our landlady came round at lunchtime to wake Andy and tell him that she has to sell the flat and that we have until 1st June to find a place and move out!!!! I feel really rubbish as this is our first home together and we love it here :-(
I am sure we will sort it all but just can't be doing with viewing rental properties etc. We have decided not to buy given the state of the market and that the property prices here where we want to live are going down so the plan is to rent for further 6-12 months, keep an eye on the market and then in about 6mths start the ball rolling with buying and start looking for houses and probably knowing how choosy we can both be it will take another 6 mths to find somewhere we both like!
I am speaking to both parents and TELLING them, not asking that they need to pay back in full what they owe me within 6 months and no less. Means that I can throw that at DMP and hopefully with overtime etc I will have paid off more than 10-15K of my debt by the time we move which will be fantastic :-)
Anyhow, I am back on the diet tomorrow - have a nice rice salad that I have made from recipe. In London too so sort of day out really, although to the office. Am asking for emergency leave Tue and Wed to start looking for places and visiting estate agents. Problem is although we have until the 1st June - Andy and I are away for a week in April and then for 2 weeks in May Andy is away so we really don't have that much time on our hands!!!!
Anyhow enough of my yapping away, I am sure it will all sort itself but I am kinda sad as really don't want to move out of our cosey flat :-(
Hope you have had a good weekend0 -
Oh poor you - thats so rubbish. I think the lack of security is probably the biggest problem with renting. I couldn't do it with the kids - it would be a nightmare! I really hope you find somewhere just as nice as your place. Its really rubbish when yo HAVE to move as you dont have the luxury of time to keep an eye out. Fingers crossed for you! Good on you for being firmer with mum and dad - it needs sorting - you shouldnt be carrying the can for them!
My aunt asked for a £200 loan as they're not making ends meet at minute - which I dont mind at all - but then she tells me thats she's booked a 2 and half grand holiday to disneyland  So I'm abit concerned shes overstretching herself there!
I've been absolutely poorly sick and dying. Today was the first day I woke up without a pounding headache - horrible. Esp as I have a writing deadline for the 3d April which I was counting on having the weekend for but now gives me today and tomo  And I've got coil out doctors app this aft  Had better sign out and get cracking!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hope you are feeling much better?? Glad you managed to make your deadline.
Having a mare trying to find another place to rent. We can't seem to find anything nice that we would be happy to live in for a good year. I hate it and feel quite stressed out about it as really happy where I am. Still, such is life and I am sure that we'll find somewhere soon enough.
Working from home today and the systems have crashed hence logged in here!
So glad it is Friday...roll on chill out time. Oh, and flat viewing :-(0 -
aw - good luck with the flat viewing. fingers crossed!

Sorry to hear that you are still feeling poorly - coughs always have a habit of hanging around!
Flat viewing went well. Seen two potentially nice ones. We were quite shocked actually as did the typical judge book by cover type thing and were viewing a flat that we didn't like the building outside but once we were in we were amazed. It was SO spacious and refurbed throughout, it was really lovely so we are hoping to get that one. A is going to contact the agents first thing tomorrow morning - fingers crossed.
Only prob with moving is that I may have to go into London for a while until they sort my home working connection at the new place. Not looking forward to it as kind of got used to the lie ins and having me a life other than trains, tubes and buses!!
Anyway, yapped on enough. Hope you are feeling better and had a good weekend despite the horrible cough.0 -
ooohh good luck - I hope you get the one that you want!
Yeah, had a good weekend. took the kids swimming today which they absolutely LOVE! especially todd - he's crazy and throws himsel all over the place in the water.
