Great news on all the survey payouts, I like the small Onepoll ones too.

I really hope that school is ok, we have no decision yet in Wales but I'm loathe to send mine back before September.

Have lovely bank holiday, H x
  • Morning, not sure where the last few days have gone but I have enjoyed being outside to enjoy it and not stuck in a classroom.
Speaking of classrooms I had an email from my head yesterday and we will not be opening school on Monday and just continuing with key workers, part of me is relived but part of me was hoping to get ack to some sort of routine, so whether we will open in a few weeks or September is all up in the air at the moment, so next week I am only going into work Tuesday and Thursday.
Payday yesterday £100 to CC and £400 to savings, £10 redeemed from a survey site. I also braved ebay this week and listed some clothes and have bids at £10, I havn't set foot in a post office since all of the crazy began so will have to brave it this week.
DS has asked to meet with some mates next week now that we are allowed in gardens, think this will do him the world of good to see his friends for an hour., not sure if it will be here or one of his friends houses.
Took the dog for a lovely long walk yesterday but paying for it today as my legs feel stiff. just shows how quickly you become unfit, another reason I want to get back to work running around after little ones as you never sit still.
Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the sunshine xx

Hi, never heard of a commercial box!!
  • Well another glorious day, just having a quick lunch and then going to go and sit in the sun with a book for an hour.
Finances are ticking along nicely, £45 sent to CC, £40 made on ebay over the weekend, everything has been paid for and I went to the post office earlier and it was really quiet, also redeemed a £10 M&S voucher from survey site. Tesco shop coming later this evening should be around £100.
I'm back in work tomorrow but only with key worker children, hoping for a bit more news on when we might be opening to other children but as Lancashire has one of the highest infection rates i'm not thinking anytime soon.
    Hope everyone is ok xx

Glad the finances are going well, hope that school is ok and can be managed well - we have a decision in Wales today but then again the school may decide a different strategy, dd is ready to go back though.

  • I hope you don't get any more surprises from school so you can get into a routine. Our infection rates are quite low in Devon so that's partly why our schools have opened for foundation and year one, but acmaximum of eight in a class so children can only come one day a week (apart from key workers children who can come every day if they want).

Hope you have a good day at work today 🙂.

If you have a printer at home you can print all your postage from ebay.  They currently have an offer where you can get a courier collection at home for the same price as drop off.  We've been using that and it's worked really well.
