Hi pwps, congrats to dd on her results and nice that you've been able to celebrate.

I bet the puppy is keeping you on your toes, sounds like she's a handful!

Well done on continuing with the surveys, I haven't down any for ages, just no time at all to sit ad do them.

    Hope you're having a good weekend, H x

Hi Huggle, puppy is definitely keeping me on my toes, tried to get in the dishwasher the other day.
I try and do a few surveys in an evening, or if i have 5 mins to sit and have a brew but once i'm back at work i wont have the time to do them.
  • Morning.

Puppy madness continues, she is keeping me on my toes, can't wait for her to have her 2nd jabs so i can take her on walks to tire her out.

Had a cheeky chippy tea last night, forgot to take mince out of the freezer for spag bol, for some reason i thought i had put it straight in the fridge after i had bought it on friday, turns out i hadnt.
Couple of items sold on ebay over the weekend, so £12 to CC when that lands in bank account, also DD to CC went out Friday so that was another £95, checked to see when low APR runs out and its April so another 8 months.

Wish it would stop raining, i'm having to use the TD which is ridiculous for August, hopefully next week will bring better weather.

  • I hate using the tumble in the summer. Feels decidedly autumnal out there this morning!

  • Morning, another week has flown by.

Its been an expensive one as we had a problem with some pumbing/leak in rental property so had to send a plumber out, floorboards had to be taken up and shower tray out and other bits and pieces, anyway its all fixed but has resulted in a £400 bill :#, thats what the emergency fund is for thank goodness.

Puppy madness continues she has destroyed some of my planters in the garden, but is easily forgiven.

DS and DD have disappeared to a festival this weekend, they went yesterday and will return Monday morning, so Myself and DH are eating out of the freezer/stores, last night we had steak, chips and vegetable kebabs, tonight is BBQ belly pork, jkt spud and HM coleslaw, made a coffee cake yesterday as well so DH has something sweet. House is lovely and quiet as DH has gone to work and i'm just pottering.
Went to vist gran yesterday, she is slowing down and loosing weight now, she sent me home with bits and pieces she wants me to have, mainly jewellery but also an antique chair that has been in the family for along time, the wood just needs a polish but the upholstery needs a good clean, any ideas? Did wonder about using some washing stuff that i have for wool and silk!
Few pounds made this week £10 on ebay sent to CC and a £10 amazon voucher redeemed and received.

Plans for the rest of the day are to get up to date with the washing, stew up some past its best fruit, ironing and general tidy up. Will also attempt to clean chair.
  • Hoping all ok with you, have seen you for a while!
