  • Afternoon,

Having a quick cuppa then i'm going to take the doggo out before it starts raining again, make tea and then hopefully sit down for the evening and catch up on some TV.

Received a £5 m&S gift voucher today, saving these for in the summer hols when i need to do  small top up shops of milk and bread, I can park on the outskirts of town for free and walk in (about 2 miles there and back) so i will get exercise and hopefully only buy what i need and what i can carry. I hope it will stop the i just need milk and then walking out of sainsbugs with £30 of stuff that i didn't need.

You are so good that you have continued keeping on top of your surveys and budgeting.  I’ve totally fallen off the wagon.  Maybe you’ll inspire me to do better.  Although, I’ve been playing around with changing my commute to work and this is saving me £20 a month, so I’m pleased with that.

Thanks ladies, i try and keep up with surveys although i have knocked some on the head and i still have a love/hate relationship with swagbuck$.
  • Morning, rain has woke me up, looks like its going to be wet all day but a sunny weekend so i can live with that.

Small spend last night at Lidl but used a £2 MO coupon so only £1.40 actually spent. Big shop today and DS is home so better fill the cupboards as he text me last night to tell me he is starving and suffering with malnutrition  :D, slight over exaggeration I think.

    Have a great day xx

    Morning all.

Spent yesterday with the mother of all headaches which is still niggling away now, went to bed at 8.30 last night as i couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

Did manage lidl shop yesterday spent £84 and was 93p away from getting my £10 lidl plus voucher, forgot binbags so will pop in Tue/wed next week to get those which will then get me my voucher.

OT claimed this morning, wage slip not showing yet and will probably be Monday now.

Hoping the weather is nice today then we can have a BBQ, I also have 2KG of rhubarb to cook, 4 manky bananas to make into banana and walnut bread and also need to fill treat tin with something chocolaty for DS who is now home and eating everything in sight.

DS has his jab this morning as they are starting to do the over 16s in our area, he is not very good with needles and is a bit concerned that i can't go in with him, :D bless!

DD has had her student loan confirmed for Uni, but is waiting to see how much bursary she will get, we are hoping that with the bursary, the money she has saved and the money we have put away for her she will need to borrow very little.

    Have a great weekend xx
