Morning.
Managed to get Gran to her sisters ok, weather was awful I hate driving in rain on the motorway and so many road works.
Yesterday went food shopping, i'm liking going early as its quiet and feels less stressful. Spent £75 between lidl and b&m so came in under budget which was £90 for this week after my overspend last week , will need to do a top up shop for milk probably Monday but will pick that up in the PO as i have a parcel to post. Any money left over can go to CC.
Sold an item overnight on ebay so that's £20 for the CC when it lands in bank account, I like how ebay take fees straight away now but hate having to wait a few days to receive payment.
DD is grumpy and stressed at the moment and we will all be glad when she gets her results on Tuesday and decisions can be made, i'm encouraging her to take as many shifts as possible at work at the moment, not only to keep her mind/self busy but to also keep her out of the house.
My car has gone to the garage to have breaks checked, not sure what the cost will be but money is in the emergency fund. So will need to drive DS car today which i've never driven before, does anyone else feel nervous about driving different cars as i get really anxious about it!

Morning
After a wet weekend the sun is shining which means getting the washer on and some clothes hung out, hate using the TD in August.
Plans for today are PO to post ebay item, pick up some milk and a couple of french baguettes, found a large pack of frying steak in the freezer so tea tonight is steak sandwiches, chips and salad. I also need to do some baking, made a coffee and walnut cake on Saturday and its all gone, might make some brownies if i have enough chocolate otherwise it will have to be flapjack..
Need to sit and sort finances and make sure everything is on track, normal mortgage payment went out Friday which brought it down to £73,056,so DH paid off another £60 to get it down into the 72s, DH found it very amusing how excited i got, it also means we will start the new year in the 60s (yes i'm thinking that far ahead).
Waiting on various bits of money/ vouchers 2 x £25 from survey sites, 1 x £25 M&S voucher and £20 from ebay.
Have a good day xx1 -
Washing hung out and 2nd load on, popped to PO, then into Mr S and spend £4,54 but used £2.50 in nectar points so will send £2.50 over to CC.1

Absolutely shattered today, DS woke me at midnight coming in from work and then DD woke me up at 2.30am drunk, she is up drinking coffee as she has work shortly, oh to be young and it not take 3 days to get over a hangover.

It's been a rather hectic week, family over at the weekend to celebrate DD results which was lovely as its such a long time since we have all seen each other in person and not on zoom.
Puppy madness has hit the house, she is gorgeous but wow she is lively i'd forgotten that its like having a 2 year old running around. I have floor length curtains in the front room which i have had to lift up as scragging them is a great game
Popping into work for a bit today, need to buy milk on the way home, watching a couple of waterproof dog coats on ebay but refuse to pay silly money for them. sold a coupe of items this week so £10 of CC, redeemed both a £5 amazon and M&S voucher, £25 has gone into bank from survey site which i will pay off CC.5
