Hi Folks,
I have updated the entries on the Cheshire BS and Derbyshire BS Platinum Monthly Savers and moved them to post 3 (as the maturity date on the new issue 5 accounts is more than 1 year from now).
The HSBC Regular Saver account interest rates have not changed yet according to the HSBC website.
I will do another update next weekend.

For those who have opened the Nationwide regular saver and seen the payment come out of the account but not appear online I strongly suggest you call them up and chase it up.
I opened one for myself and then one for my wife using the save web page, etc. The money was taken from our accounts the same day and mine appeared online a few days later.
My wife had the email saying it would appear in a few days but 2 weeks later there is no sign so we called them up. On their system they can see the money leave the current account but it has gone to an 'investment account' and they cant trace it any further than that until Monday when the department that deals with it is in the office.
The branch prefix and first 3 digits of the account that the money that left my wifes current account went to is the same as my regular saver so it is within the range of numbers assigned to the regular saver account but it is currently in a 'black hole' and cannot be traced.
As others here have had a similar experience I would call them up otherwise it may be stuck in the ether for a while...0 -
Thanks for the advice KTF, but I'd just suggest savers go elsewhere. Nationwide savings team is not competent enough to be trusted with our money, this kind of pattern has happened time and again over the last few years and they show no interest in improving.0

Dagobert, last month you told me the branch you rang. I rang them, they sent me the forms, I returned them and they cashed my cheques (myself and wife) and have sent me passbooks.
Because I live in the westcountry I try speculative applications by post when they are advertised as branch only. Sometimes I get lucky as in this instance.0 -
Hi Everybody,
I have updated the list on the first page and included the information from the posts above.
carpetbarn, thanks a lot for spotting the Nottingham BS Heartland Saver and the nice summary. Just one thing to add - the account is only available to people who live in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.
I will do another update next weekend.

The Lloyds TSB Classic Vantage Account is increasing the interest rate on savings between 5-6K to 4% from Monday 10th September. Making it a top paying feeder account.
Looks like there may be some hoops to jump through. i.e. account in credit for the month, £1,000 paid in and 2 Direct Debits set up :-(0 -
Only the 2 DD's setup is new since the last time it was at 4%, from what I can see it should be fairly easy to spread around the DD's to multiple vantage accounts that people probably already have. Good news!Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!
Mortgage free II: New Year's Eve 2013!
Mortgage free III: Est. Dec 2021...0 -

I have 3 of these accounts from last time the rate was 4%.
Can I set up DD's between the accounts ie from one account to the other?
If not what is the easiest way to set up 2 DD's for these accounts?0
