I applied online late in the evening of the 16th.

The money left my Flexaccount on the 22nd, and has a "credited date" of the 17th.

I think my account became visible online on the 23rd.

Sounds like you need to chase up your application.

Would you Adam and Eve it, just got an email saying account open, at last!
    Thanks anyway :)
  • I opened a Flexsclusive saver, transferred £250 on the 13th August. This is now showing in my online banking.

When can I next transfer £250, 1st September or 13th September? I wonder what would happen if I tried to transfer £250 today via internet banking?

1st of September, it's calendar month. (Can use regular internal transfers to do it automatically each 1st)

I wouldn't try transferring another £250 today, since you already made a payment in August and it says in the T&Cs that they will return all payments over £250 a month.
  • thank you every one for your replies.
i have at the moment an e savings account but this pays very poor intrest rates.
i have a sum of money which i would like to pay into a instant access online account similar to e savings.
as i can only put £250 a month into Flexclusive Regular Saver Issue 1 i cannot put my savings into this account until october 2013 and this is when it reverts to 2%.
do you think i should put my savings into the derbyshire issue 4 online account paying 3.06% and then 1% after october 2013 i should move it to the flexclusive which pays 2%

    thankyou

consider other banks and building societies. E.g. there is the First Direct Regular Saver paying 8% AER

Applied for mine on 10th August, still heard nothing at all!! Seems to take a long time to get the account open

I opened mine on the day it was launched. My money has long vanished from my flexaccount, but with no account details let alone appearance in my internet banking, and I queried this a week ago with no response yet.

I've now instructed them to close the account. Nationwide savings accounts are a complete shambles, I should have learned my lessons from the 60 days it took them to do an *internal* ISA transfer last year.

    Useless bunch of muppets.

I got that, but still no sign of it in my internet banking a week later, no letter in the post, no idea how to credit it in a few days time.

    Useless.

New Cheshire/Derbyshire 5% Platinum regular launched today.

If you can get to a branch today, you can have £1000 in the account by tomorrow.
