I don't really know what happened today. Got up late, got showered and dressed. Bunny not exactly well. Had to clean up a bit. Bit worried about him. Think he is lonely.
Am still sorting paperwork on the floor so that made quite the mess.
had breakfast. Did some sorting in the garden. more paperwork upstairs. But not efficiently. It all feels so yucky in my room. In fact pretty much the whole house.
made lunch. Ate lunch. fell asleep!! Woke up. Walked dogs. Made dinner. Watching film.
I am just sad today. Disappointed that I don't want to do anything whilst an alarming number of my friends are doing all sorts!
There was an old man on the TV yesterday and he said even if today wasn't great (or it was )you still have tomorrow to come and tomorrow can be better.

Don't forget Buffy - people will only let you see what they want you to see going on in their lives. Some people keep themselves that busy to avoid their mental health failing. I have done bits of things but I've also had days where I've just sat and watched tv. I know that if I don't get out for my exercise my mental health will deteriorate quickly so I make myself do it. My house and garden are still a mess - there's a meme on fakeb00k about it that always makes me laugh - something about lack of time not being the reason after all.
I can't put it as eloquently as NorthernSoul did but that post was amazing - and rang very true.
Lots of love to you.

yeah the dog walk is the highlight of the day at the moment. And you are right re highlight wheel of doing things. I know for sure one of my friends is baking her way through not killing her husband. I genuinely hope she leaves him - not forever but just to show him what an utter moron he is being, he needs a shock. A person shouldn't be that unhappy in relationship and this whole virus thing has brought it all into sharp sharp relief. Under normal circumstances I would be over there with alcohol to stave off the big row but they need to sort this and for her sake I hope do. Makes me sad to think of her trapped. My other friends are doing ok I think.
Got up feeling ok today. Shined the sink and did the pets.
Made breakfast. And am now watching Murder She Wrote. Chances of productivity are low. I need something else to eat though. And finish my tea.
So I finished my tea about 4 hours ago! and I have been sorting paperwork ever since!
just forgot to press send!Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Hi BuffyI'm with Martha on this. And that includes when the turtle step in question is 'turn on the computer' or 'put single thing in washing basket' followed by a rest and a celebration.Sleep as much as you need to, it's healing and you have been under stress a lot.Rosa xxDebt free May 2016... today wasn't bad. Have decided to take the pressure off myself. I sorted another bag of paperwork, hoovered, did more paperwork, cleaned out the animals and made yet another plan to move my room round. I have a pile of filing to do, the new rabbit is adorable and I think the room plan should be ok so long as I can get one item from the shed. And paint it.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
Buffy. I am doing the very bare minimum I need to to get by. I don’t care what anyone else thinks.I have lived in this house for over 30 years and most of my bedroom furniture is in roughly the same place as it has always been!Love me. Martha is a bit bonkers in some ways but I like a lot of her approach - I think the turtle steps is in one of her early books, Finding Your North Star or Steering by Starlight.New rabbit? To keep lonely boy company?Rosa xx

hello X
I am still as Beanie would say plodding on. The piece on the news about Captain Tom is making me cry. He is such a lovely man and so determined.
Here in Buffy land I am not so determined tho today I am going to go shopping. I still can't sleep and REALLY NEED to sort out a TV in my room. Like REALLY. I keep getting distracted by other things.
I have nothing interesting to report. I feel like most people that I am waiting for life to start again. I miss my friends so much.
Still, the news has said the lockdown will continue for three weeks. I can work with that.Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
