I avoid the news reports if I can, I don’t think they’re telling us anything new right now, nothing positive anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Just stay away from the news apart from maybe once a day... find a brilliant box set and escape for a bit.
I just watched every episode of Torchwood again. I don't know what to watch next...

Mum and I have significantly different tastes in TV. And currently due to the rabbit being inside I can't set up the TV in my room, tho maybe with him I could since he has no front teeth..... the new room arrangement would work.
I belong to too many local groups and have too many local friends - the local information is bad enough. My friend knew someone who waiting 4 and a half hours for an ambulance. He was then told it was safer at home.
Today I am going to spend my time out in the garden sorting out stuff out there. I need to do do things to improve the state of the house. It isn't until you live here that you realise how bad it is. and my lack of TV is a big problem! So if there is room in the shed I can move things out there. This way Mum and I are apart, good for her being at risk and I get to do "something"
Will try and walk the dogs late like yesterday, it was good, no one else was around.
So goals,
1. Empty the shed
2. Paint the shed.
3. Organise the shed.

The garden was not a success. It is too much for me today. Everything is too much. I have so much to do out there. It must be done. I should have started growing things weeks ago. tho just looked at the planner thing I found and I can just about manage so long as I sow soon..Nevertheless she persisted.2

Buffy, so sorry to hear about your friend. And the rest. Big fuzzy virtual hugs and hot chocolate.Take it slow. I like some of what Marie Kondo says but it isn't really designed for doing bit by bit. I've just kept the ideas about 'do I love this' and 'could I let it go with a thank you' and gone back to FlyLady methods that only need me to focus for 15 minutes at a time.Rosa xxDebt free May 2016... Thanks Rosa, and yes I agree re Marie Kondo. I though now might be a good time but I can't quite get the enthusiasm up !!
Today was a bit weird. Very very down. Ok in the end but I think that is just the feeling of relief of getting through another day. I didn't get any where with the shed situation. Went out and just got overwhelmed.
I think part of the problem is that each morning I make Mum a cup of tea and she uses the shower first, as someone who is self isolating she has to. But that means I wait downstairs with the dogs and it is just such a stop start to the day. I mean I can do stuff like put washing on empty the dishwasher but I can't get my teeth into anything until she appears and then it is breakfast and then it is clear up from breakfast etc and then to be honest it feels like a holiday.. and it isn't.... I might see if tomorrow I can just get dressed and go straight outside. At least achieve something early. I really need to see this house as my job. Get up and GO TO WORK. Work starts at 9am. Perhaps not on Sunday.

Yes. You could get dressed in the morning and have your shower in the evening & see how that goes.Take care Buffster xxxI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Got a banging headache again but did stay up late again last night. I am not learning!!! The Good Place is so good!!!Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Well I got out in the garden, did huffing and puffing and moved a few things around, it is all doable which was good. It wasn't loads but it is a start. I have decided I need to change my room a fair bit for it to work. Kind of freaks me out, means moving one big bit of furniture - which I have moved before I guess... I did want to paint the ceiling and my shelves as well but feel that might have to come later on in lock down, after I have done some yoga and sorted out my back a bit more.
Now our whole garden is on a slope and although the shed is on a base that levelled it out the door has dropped a lot. I don't know if it is cos of the slope or just what happens to shed doors.........but it is only just closing.... hmmm.
starving.
dinner soon. Mum is cooking roast dinner - my favourite which is just wonderful.Nevertheless she persisted.2
