Generally speaking I am not enjoying the weekends at the moment. They are a constant round of trying to do the housework, the washing, cleaning out the animals, checking on the dogs
and looking after mum, having to think about what to eat and when and if mum needs pills, help, water whatever plus her being in pain isn't easy to watch.
I have clean clothes, clean animals and am in the process of putting clean sheets on Mum's bed (did mine Friday). On the positive side of things
1. Found a promising new gardener.
2. Haircut next Saturday
3. Did go for a lovely walk today.
4. Found a rabbit friend for small bunny. If he leaves me she can go outside with the big buns. I just hate him being alone.
5. Did 15 minutes in my room and it looks a lot better.
6. ooo I have lost 7 pounds since the start of the year. Purely from walking.
7. I have a new yoga book.
8. Two big birthday parties and my weekend away
9. Plus I am seeing my best friend this week. and spoke to my lovely friend
this morning (whilst mum was asleep)
10. Made a really good roast dinner.
I am trying to make sure I live a bit. Do stuff, carry on with my minimalist plans, the walking, the French, the house plans, the garden plans. hence the gardener and paying for rubbish removal in half term. I feel more keenly than ever the need to be as light weight as possible. As organised as possible. I want it all done by the start of July.
Have gone back to reading Brian Tracy - he is a motivational speaker, of the Eat that Frog fame. I really like his ideas.
Any enough rambling! XXX

I too am needle phobic Buffy - am ok once it's in, it's just the anticipation so you do have my sympathies! I was poorly after first jab but only for 24 hours (flu like symptoms), got my second jab saturday coming. You do sound like you achieved a lot this weekend which is great. If it's any consolation, I too hate weekends at present - the kids stuck in this flat making noise and p1ssing off the neighbours. We always can't wait for Monday to come around again which is cr*p as am effectively wishing away my maternity leave.
So impressed you're doing french and 7lbs weight loss from walking is amazing!2 -
