I have arranged a meeting with a financial advisor at the start of June and will ask him what he thinks re ISA, mortgage, changing to a buy to let  after a year etc etc. I could drive myself mad reading stuff and looking at houses but I think expert advice is needed. This is the guy I spoke to in lock down 1, he was good and I had kinda forgotten about, talking it over with my friend yesterday she reminded me.
Car bill is 430. Which is a shame.
I really need a good cry but can't seem to. Work is hard, the kids are ok but many are cracking under the strain and it is horrible to see them. Mum is ticking along but the doctors are now useless which I am upset about. She is eating more tho so that is good but is still in pain.  It just feels like everything is on a bit of a knife edge. Work especially. New head is making his presence felt and it is quite unpleasant. I think I just honestly need a break or catch a break or have something to look forward to. I am going out to eat on Thursday. Working on the house at the weekend. I would love uninterrupted sleep.

Today, well yesterday now went pretty ok in bits. There is loads of !!!!!! hitting alllll the fans, so far none on me but that won't last. But my lessons were good today. I was happy with them.
Mum started the day badly but she did do some washing today and made an effort to eat and ate her dinner. Am worried about house bunny. I have the most awful feeling something neurological might be going on. He is eating, drinking and pooing normally, running around,  just sometimes he seems very spaced out and doesn't always "see" me which is odd as I am on the floor right next to him. Vets booked for Friday. I am so paranoid since he hurt his leg.
money wise I paid for the car. Need to pay the CC bill that seems to have crept up. Am seriously skint. But just ordered two new coffee mugs for work. Am sick of having to find one of my normal mugs, at the moment they are all over the show. I seem to have lost my lunch bag which is annoying.

hope the rest of the week is good for everyone XX

    Thanks Mothernerd. XX
Very Rough week has come to an end. Still hard to think about !!!!!!. Pressure is increasing at work. Mum is about the same. Eating better tho.
I miss his presence so much. Talking to him about work. Planning stuff together, sharing ideas. Just having a joke.
Small bunny isn't well and think his time will be at an end soon. Tonight I gave him his favourite herbs and he ate them all up so that is good. Tomorrow I pick up more pain relief.
The specialist he needs to see is only available between 9 and 12.30 on a Monday. And of course half term week is a bank holiday.....So no way I can get him there. I am going to ring tomorrow and see if I could leave him overnight and have the vet see him without me.... I doubt it but it is worth a shot.
I have big plans for this weekend. Mainly for distraction purposes. I NEED the downstairs sorted out. I am hopeful Mum will stay in bed (!) so I can get on. I am going to go write a plan. Can't believe it is 10 o clock.

    I slept from 11.30 till 8am.
I feel pretty good, dog one asleep next to me on the sofa. I need to go to the Chemist, post office and pet shop so will get dressed in a minute and do that and my walk for the day, come back and sort out the conservatory. The living room will be tomorrow's job as mum will be up and about today, so will need an early start tomorrow. Might even be able to do some shed stuff.
It would make an enormous difference to me and mum if we could use the conservatory. It would give me somewhere to sit and work and Mum could sit there and watch the birds during the day.

Mum got up and got in the shower without any help.... I am quite shocked.
Also having chatted to my friends this morning I fully realised I am really not the only one in this situation, all of us are watching our folks battle old age. Please anyone reading this encourage your parents to keep going and keep doing things. Mum wouldn't and I think partly this is the result. Obviously lockdown has been a disaster for all of them. Covid is so devastating in so many ways. Took away many opportunities.
I have decided to "act as if" as if everything is going to get better. Positive. Positive. Positive.

It’s a shame to have a conservatory and not be able to use it. Is it full of clutter? You sound brighter today☺️

The conservatory has more or less always leaked and so some of the furniture is ruined. The leak got worse in the winter and I had to shove the furniture out of the way of it, then we had the blocking of the kitchen waste pipe and the plumber had to come and unblock and see the chaos(had to shove furniture even more.).. HORRIFYING.
THEN mum was being helpful and moving the recycling only yours truly didn't know this and never took it out, and then it was just more crap going out there on top of the recycling, like stuff I moved in from the shed to sort out. It has just became a dumping ground.
