    Thanks Denise xx
Unfortunately I’ve been out of range since Christmas so my grace week is long gone. 1.5lbs needed to get back in to range. I will do it though!

Hadn't realised you've been out of target since Christmas. I'm sure you'll soon get back into target range. You've done it before you can do it again. Stick to plan and you could be there in a week or two! Good luck.

That looks nice, although not the tomatoes! I'm not a fan of tomatoes on the plate - don't like too much liquid on my plate! If I had something like that I'd have it with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. I don't even have gravy on my roast dinner! My DH thinks I'm weird as he has masses!

WI went well - I lost a lb (for those that don't know me that's a good loss :rotfl:!)

Not impressed with the pork and chorizo burgers or the WM muffins for lunch - decided to have a salad on the side rather than just putting lettuce and tomato in with the burger. Glad I did as it was more enjoyable than the burger. What a waste of 12.5 Syns:eek:. So we've only had half a pack so will have the other one another time but won't be before we go away as I've already done this month's menu plan! Muffins have also been individually wrapped and in the freezer.

Still at least dinner will be nice tonight as long as I don't overcook the steak!

  • Well done on your loss Denise! What a shame about the burgers, they sounded lovely.

  • Ooh we're back! I am sad that all the old smileys have gone  :'(

  • Anyway. Today's menu:
    • B - 2x Alpen Light
    • D - Carrot and lentil soup
    • T - Chicken and chorizo jambalaya (3)
    • HEA - Milk
    • HEB - Alpen Lights
    • Syns - Sugar in coffee (3), jambalaya (3), hot chocolate (2) = 8
WI tomorrow and I am not hopeful  :/

Am I being thick - we don't seem to be able to change the size or colour of text anymore?

I tried to get back on when an e-mail came through saying that you'd posted!  No idea why I got the e-mail as I've never had them before.  Can't say I like the new layout though, still no doubt we'll get used to it!  The spacing seems to be very wide now, looks like it's double spacing rather than single now.  The smiley's are along the top Tete but there are definitely less than there were before!  We haven't even got the "eek" smiley anymore which a lot of us used to use.

    Today's plan:
    B - mushrooms & egg on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - LO veg soup with little pasta - S; F
    D - crusted cod; hassle back potatoes & peas - P; F; 1.5
    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - 1 slice WM bread (between us) 1.5.  May have a couple of rum & ginger beer 5

Need to keep Syns low as had a chocolate truffle yesterday and unfortunately it was 7 syns (I didn't check until after I'd eaten it!). Also had more syns but can't remember what else but ended on 24 so damage limitation needed already.

Don't seem to be able to edit posts anymore either!

I meant to say after the 1st sentence that I couldn't actually get back on so had to wait a while and then tried again.  Hopefully I'll be able to find the thread again.  I've bookmarked the page but who knows!

Oh no I hadn't noticed that about editing! Will have to be more careful with my proof reading now!

Yes I definitely used to have my favourite smileys I used all the time, particularly the little scowl face.

You're right about the double spacing Denise, although your menu list seems quite compact - how did you manage that?

I too have had emails about your posts so I'll have to find out how I can turn that off!

  • Aha! You CAN edit posts - it's the little cog symbol at the top of the post in the blue bar. And it no longer seems to be double spaced - even though it looks like it it when typing the reply, when it publishes it's fine  :)

I don't seem to have the little cog symbol at the top of the post!

The double spacing seems to be when you're actually typing it but posts normally, what a weird set up.

    Denise

PS. Aah!  the cog is at the top once you've posted!
