Apparently once the new site is up and running you'll be able to post photos directly according to the blurb on today's e-mail - there's a link to it. I'm not one for taking photos of my food so won't be making use of it in the future either, LOL!

You beat me to it Maman I was going to say bubbs is the expert!

  • Hi, can’t believe Wednesday has come around so quick. Just about to prep all the veggies for a chicken stir fry. We are having it with noodles for a change.
I’ve been pretty good this week apart from yesterday when I took a pal to hospital for an MRI on her knee. She had the scan and then was due to see the consultant but he had an emergency surgery come in and her appointment was put back. We had lunch in their cafe and I thought I’d be really good and have a JP with beans. It was enormous! When I cut into it, to my horror, there was a big pat of butter oooozing all over and into the potato. I could have taken it back but I decided that I’d eat it. It was scrumptious but I’d not dare guess at the syns. Then I went to buy a newspaper to read whilst I waited and somehow I bought a tube of Rolos (because I hadn’t seen them for ages - what a plonker!) and yes, you guessed it, I ate those too. I despair of myself sometimes and I’m thinking weigh in won’t have me back in my range Ggggrrrr. At least I got a bit of body magic shoving and pushing the wheelchair.
Anyway, a much better day today’s day I’m back in the zone.

Forgot to say, I managed to get the podcast app on android and have listened to some of the slimming world podcasts. The first one is a bit giggly, then they talk about their own personal journeys. By podcast 5 they are talking food. There are around 50!

MM - life gets in the way. Don't worry, just draw the line and straight back on plan which is what you've done. You said it was a good week up until then so probably not as much damage done as it could have been.

Even if you've gone out of range you'll still have your grace week so a chance to get back into range with a good week.

Morning all! WI day for me today. Have had a good week so expecting a good loss, will be unhappy if I don't!

Will come back later with the result!

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - after WI - HEB; S; F
L - Asda WM muffin, Tesco pork & chorizo burger, lettuce & tomato (S)
    D - steak, chips, mushrooms & onions - P; F; S

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge oats
    Syns - burger (5.5); muffin (7)

Bit of a c*ck up today - why couldn't we have 2 HEBs rather than 2 HEAs! Never mind it's still within Syns for the day.

    Thanks Denise xx
Unfortunately I’ve been out of range since Christmas so my grace week is long gone. 1.5lbs needed to get back in to range. I will do it though!
  • Today’s plan is,
    He a bob milk
    He a
    He b whole meal toast
    B banana
    L poached eggs on toast
    D bns and bacon risotto
    Syns/snacks satsuma, grapes, babybels.
Might have some mushrooms with lunch if I get to the shop on my dog walk. If not, I will be a bit unspeedy today but we shall see.
  • Good luck with your weigh in today Denise.

Trying to get some speed in form.the offset. So instead of boiled eggs this morning, I'm doing baked peppers with egg and mushroom inside. May be a pic to follow 😁
  • Hello all! Augh I am struggling to pull back the damage from my weekend wine and choc despite being angelic since Monday :o I'll be very lucky to STS at this rate. Possibly the fact I'm not very mobile at the moment is having an impact as well :(

    Anyway, will persevere.

    B - Banana
D - Pasta with pesto (2), bacon, spring onions, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, 15g red. fat cheese
T - Pork chop, grilled cherry toms, mushrooms, Tesco pink slaw (which I checked and is free), maybe a boiled potato as well if I'm v hungry
    HEA - Milk, cheese
    HEB - Almonds
    Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), pesto (2), hot chocolate (2) = 8
    Weightloss: 14.5/65lb
