That's brilliant. Well done:T
Sometimes losses don't fit conveniently into SW weeks but sticking to plan always comes good in the end.Sadly, the same is true of going off plan. It may not show up immediately but it will catch up with you.:(
Glad you're safe and sound gtq. What are you doing in Egypt, Sights or Seaside? You might get a buffet where you can make OK choices.:)
I'm pleased you got something good to eat in the end tete. I really like mushroom stroganoff (with or without meat) and I have some dried porcini mushrooms in the cupboard as well as the chestnut ones I buy most weeks. Can anyone recommend a low syn recipe that they've tried?:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried egg, bacon (P)
L: ham (P), fried potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), broccoli, cauli steak, mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
Syns: 0
No syns today but, although I haven't done the maths yet, there won't be enough for a pub meal and drinks on Wednesday. I'm not that worried as I only need to maintain but it would be good to have a clear week where I could get closer to the bottom of my range. I sometimes wonder how I ever managed to get to target. I must have hidden myself away.;);)0 -
I haven't tried it but there is a syn free mushroom stroganoff on the Slimming Eats website. Just uses either natural yoghurt or fromage frais for the creaminess. Might be worth a try!
There's a beef stroganoff on the PON website which could probably be adapted although I haven't actually looked at the recipe.
There's also a recipe on the SW website. This is 1 syn per portion because it uses Philly Lightest as part of the creaminess, plus some fromage frais.
Might be worth a look at the recipes and then decide if any of them are for you.

Well done mrsb, fab loss, very motivational! Going well here, ending my week with more than 25 syns left, so should have another loss tomorrow at WI
.
Listening to a SW podcast at the mo, who knew they existed :rotfl:. Just saw a post on my SW fb page about them. I just went to the App store, typed in Apple podcast, and then SlimmingWorld and there are lots to download. And they are free! I just have it running in the background on my ipad whilst I look at forums etc, it is just like listening to the radio
Turns out OH will be away again from tomorrow til the w/e, so just me to feed. Made the falafels yesterday, they were ok, but quite a faff to make. I now wonder if I left the chickpeas too coarse, was very mindful to not blitz them too much into houmous. Anyway, will munch my way through them this week. Will probably make more Dynorod soup too on Wednesday, I really like it, and is such an easy way to eat speed for lunch :T.
I have not touched any pesto (red or green) since starting SW but was pleasantly surprised to learn 1 tbs is only 2 syns! There is a jar in the fridge the kids must have started, so I might do a pasta salad later in the week and use some of it. Or have warm pasta with bacon and pasta, mmmmm.
Hope everyone has a good week, will pop back tomorrow.

PIB I tend to blitz the chickpeas until they are like a thick paste. If there are any big pieces of chickpea you need to pick them out but if you time it right there shouldn't be any.
I don't them too much of a faff, except the having to put them in the fridge for a couple of hours to firm up but there's no reason why you can't leave them overnight if that would be more convenient.
I don't keep them more than a couple of days as they tend to dry out too much. I'm happy to eat them along with a bit of salad for lunch or on their own but if eating on their own it's worth having some yoghurt to dip them in or they seem to be a bit dry.
I haven't used pesto for ages either although I've got a recipe somewhere to make some out of salad that's beyond using as salad, iykwim! Haven't tried it yet but will if I end up with salad like that - I've usually eaten it before it gets to that stage though!
Pasta, bacon & pesto sounds nice, don't think I've ever used it like that.

My injured foot is really painful today for some reason but I've taped it up and taken some painkillers so hopefully I'll make it to my pilates class at lunchtime. The class itself isn't the issue, it's the walk across to itWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Slimming world podcast? I wonder if I can get that on android.
First weigh in tonight, have managed to stay within plan, some day using nearly the full 15 suns and other days using none. Our consultant has encouraged me not to 'save them all for the weekend' and stick to a daily allowance. Despite this I've managed to eat out one couple of lunches, had some alcohol and even shared half a peice of cake within plan (I don't plan to do that often). I hope to have a loss tonight, bit plan to have my tea first just as I did last week for my first weight.
Today
B: quark and frozen berries
L: Veg biryani
D not sure yet
Snacks so far today, - pear.
Not had any hea or habit yet today, maybe incorporate them in my dinner. Also need more speed. Grilled babybel on courgette halves yesterday, that could be an option.0
