Me too, I'll have a look on Playstore.:)sinkorswim2018 wrote: »Our consultant has encouraged me not to 'save them all for the weekend' and stick to a daily allowance.
It's not recommended by SW but I've done it since Day 1 and it's worked for me. I know I'm not alone as Denise and Bubbs and others do it. Personally, I'd rather save syns for the weekend and make the weekend a bit special than have a small treat every day. I find it relatively easy to eat very low syn or syn free during the week. But that's me. Everyone makes SW work for them and their own lifestyle.sinkorswim2018 wrote: »I hope to have a loss tonight, bit plan to have my tea first just as I did last week for my first weight.
Yes, it's a good idea to keep things as much the same as you can week on week. I have a morning WI and I always have breakfast first just like I did the first time because I didn't make up my mind to join until after I'd eaten.I wear roughly the same sort of clothes too although I don't go to the extremes that some people do like almost stripping off!

Not had any hea or heb yet today, maybe incorporate them in my dinner. Also need more speed. Grilled babybel on courgette halves yesterday, that could be an option.
Obviously, I don't know your portion sizes but that doesn't seem like a huge amount of food for a day to me. IMO what matters about SW isn't so much how much you eat but what you eat. Having at least a third Speed (I try to go more like half) is essential to balance off the carbs and protein. Please don't go hungry or you'll feel deprived and give up. Good luck for WI tonight.:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, half banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veggie omelette (P,S) with ham (P) and pickles (S)chicken casserole (F,P,S) with cauli, broccoli and runner beans
Syns: cornflour 1
It's the casserole recipe with butter beans in Denise. I've not run out yet. Hopefully my Home Bargains were just low on stock so I'll look again.0 -
Afternoon,
Well done on your loss Mrs Butler.
Forgot to post yesterday's plan:
B - porridge with sliced apple & cinnamon
L - LO veg & chicken pasta; protein yogurt (1)
D - Chicken korma with onions/spinach/mushrooms & rice (4 for sauce)
Treat: birthday cake square (10)
HEA - milk in tea/coffee
Today's plan:
B - banana & protein yogurt (1)
snack - slices of turkey
L - porridge (HEB) & sliced apple with cinnamon & splash of milk
D - sausages (3), mash & veggies, gravy (1)
HEA - milk in tea/coffee
May or may not allow myself a piece of chocolate cake again today. May save it til tomorrow instead so I've a cushion of a lower syn day today in the bank.
Good luck to anyone at WI todayOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

First weigh in tonight, have managed to stay within plan, some day using nearly the full 15 suns and other days using none. Our consultant has encouraged me not to 'save them all for the weekend' and stick to a daily allowance. Despite this I've managed to eat out one couple of lunches, had some alcohol and even shared half a peice of cake within plan (I don't plan to do that often). I hope to have a loss tonight, bit plan to have my tea first just as I did last week for my first weight.

On our FB page my consultant said that the podcasts are available for both Android and iPad/IPhone.
I'm with Maman about your menu plan for today. That really doesn't seem a lot of food for today. I definitely eat more than that each day!
I was quite hungry by lunchtime today because I'd only had porridge and fruit for breakfast. I usually have some protein (quite often eggs!) for breakfast as it definitely keeps me fuller for longer.
I'd definitely try to have a few syns each day rather than going without. Even though I use my syns weekly I do try to have at least a few Syns each day. Good luck with your first WI tonight.

Well, rather frustrated to report a STS this week even though I have been on plan 100% and had more than 27 syns left in the bank
. At group they reckon it will catch up with me and produce a good loss next week, am still really annoyed though. I won’t go off the rails as that would be completely counterproductive
, but at this rate I will be buying another Countdown next week to get to Target *rolls eyes*. Oh well, another SW book to add to the collection, not exactly :money:, but it is a little something during the week just for me
.
Got the ‘Free Food Festival’ next week, which is basically a Taster session but you are encouraged to bring along a Free recipe you have invented and I think we are then meant to vote and have a winner who then goes on to the next round, and could get published in the SW magazine eventually. There is a form to fill out for the recipe which I meant to pick up but forgot. I guess I could do it at group next week. I think she called it a ‘Cook Off’. New magazine at group as well today, I have stopped buying them, have so many books & mags now, and stick to favourite things to cook.
Poundsinbucks x🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
I can commiserate with you PIB. I just checked back in my book and it took me 10 weeks to lose the last three pounds to target. I went up and down until I finally lost 3.5 lbs and went under.
9 years on and I'm still going up and down that same 3 lbs. :rotfl:
Fingers crossed for you for next week.1 -

Thanks Maman and Denise for your advise.
I can add to my plan two pears and an orange. Sw lasagne with grated carrots and cucumber.plas some beetroot. Had that before weight in as I'd eaten before I went last week. The night is not over so I will eat more. My.potion sizes are generous but want to get more speed in.
Reporting 1st week loss (sp not realistic as the 1st is generally better) of 4.5lb!
Very happy with that obviously. Hoping for a 2lb loss next week... but I have got night shifts to contend with.
Got a bolognese in the slow cooker with mushrooms, 4 carrots, 4 onions and two tons of chopped tom's so got my speed in there.0 -
