Love it when I don't need to use the tumble dryer. Line drying is definitely very :money:Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Oh no Bubbs! You can be forgiven for that assumption I think. Keep your fingers crossed for me!It's WI tomorrow but I definitely don't feel any thinner or lighter so no holding out much hope for a loss but really hope it isn't a gain as that would mean I'm out of target again!

It's a constant balancing act. I've given up on counting syns this week as I know I have to be over the 105. I wasn't going home after my meeting last night so I had to eat something and it would have looked very unsociable to eat nothing. So I threw caution to the wind and had a wrap and coleslaw and even a few chips.
I'm back on plan 100% today though, following your 'good when I can' principle.:D
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), bacon and eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L: cold chicken (P), beetroot (S) and something with carbs to balance it ??Austrian ham hash (P,S,F) with cauli and broccoli (S)
Syns: 00 -
Decided to make some falafels while the oven was on so that I've got something free to snack on if I'm peckish. The falafels are ready and DH and I have just had one each and they are lovely! Chicken still not cooked though so still a little while until we can have lunch. All the salad stuff has been prepped and got sweet chilli sauce or hoisin sauce to have with the wrap. I've got one wrap DH has got 2. If I want something after the wrap I'll just have some more chicken & salad wrapped in a Chinese leaf (bought instead of lettuce for a change this week!).
Might end up eating another couple of falafels by the time the chicken is cooked though!
What a shame there wasn't anything SW friendly to eat last night Maman. But agree it would very anti social if you didn't eat anything. At least you've got at least another week to pull things back before you go to WI again.

Just had a look for a falafel recipe on the SW website, have never made them but am tempted now. Want to finish food I already have in fridge first, but might have a go tomorrow. Is that the recipe you use denise?
Going slightly stircrazy here. It is day 3 of treecutters dealing with my neighbours massive conifers, finally! 6 blokes, 3 chainsaws, 2 chippers, what a racket. But it will be worth it, more sunlight finally. Have only been waiting 4 years. They have grown, unhindered, for probably 30 years, and a lot of their bulk overhanging into our space. Now, some have been cut down to the ground, some down to 4m tall and may die as a result , we’ll have to wait and see. We have more light in the lounge already
. They may finish the job today which would be fab. Crispy frosty start this morning to a beautiful cold, sunny day.
Poundsinbucks x
ETA meant to say, my drive is now blocked with equipment and vehicles as I let them have access to get on with their job, so I can’t get my car out. Never mind, might go out for a walk later, to give my ears a rest x🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
I used to use the SW recipe but I found another one which I think is better. Just has to be made to fit SW! Not too many changes though.
Here's the link:
https://toriavey.com/?s=falafel
The main difference is that it uses dried chickpeas which have to be soaked overnight but I find they make much better falafels than the SW recipe - people at group agree! I never have to think about something to make for tasters I just get asked to make my falafels!!!
I've done a couple of different things over the years but over the last couple of years it's been falafels every time! I even got asked for my recipe by a vegetarian lady as she said mine were so much better than hers! praise indeed.
Hope you don't have to put up with the noise for too much longer PIB but at least you'll have a bit more light.

Today:
B - None
D - Roast veg and chicken with couscous (as yesterday)
T - Pork chop with sweet potato mash and carrots (feels a bit random but trying to use what I have in the fridge!)
HEA - Milk
HEB - Almonds
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), hot chocolate (2) = 6
Tomorrow is my work's away day and I know there'll be pastries in the morning and a canteen lunch - hopefully this is better than a buffet lunch of various sandwiches and quiches, and I can get some sort of jacket potato or salad box. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Panic over!!!
