Morning all, weather not looking too bad and I'm taking the chance and hanging another load of washing out while I'm at group this morning (in fact it's already out - put it out about half hour ago!).
Not holding out any hope of a loss but really hope it isn't a gain as I was bang on top end of target range when I weighed 2 weeks ago. To be honest I'd be happy with a STS!
I've mucked up a bit with my menu for today as forgot I was doing overnight oats to take with me to eat after WI and have got burger & onions in a bun for lunch which I've already got out of the freezer so need to be eaten as they've defrosted, will have to syn the WM roll:(.
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - after WI. HEB; P; S; F
L - burger & onions in WM roll - burger 0.5; roll 6.5; onions S
D - HM chicken dhansak (made with LO roast chicken and frozen so just needs reheating) with rice - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - burger 0.5; roll 6.5; maybe a couple of G&T 6?
Back later after WI with the damage!

Where is everybody? Must be a very busy day for you all!
Amazingly I actually lost 0.5lb! No idea how but I'll take it and breathe a sigh of relief. Only got 4 more weeks until I go on holiday for a month so would like to get down into target range as far as possible - don't think it'll be possible for me to get to bottom end but if I can get into the bottom half, ie below actual target weight then I'll be happy as it will give me a bit of leeway.
Change of plan this morning - I forgot to take my overnight oats so bought a fruit platter (reduced :money:) in Tesco for my breakfast. So instead of 6.5 Syns for my roll at lunchtime that'll now be my HEB. Only syns so far today will be 0.5 for my butcher's burger.
May have a couple of G&Ts this evening but not sure yet.

Finished yesterday on 10 syns. Cooked the Pinch of Nom Dirty Rice for dinner, really nice.
Todays menu:
B: Banana (First thing) 2 Small Wholemeal Slices of Bread (Hex, 2 scrambled Eggs and mushrooms.
L: Jacket Potato with Cheese (Hex A) and small Portion of Beans. Beetroot, lettuce and cucumber for Speed. Satsuma.2 x Fish Chargrills (0.5 syns) Think I might do some stirfryed cauliflower rice and veg with them.
Hex A: 30g Cheddar
Hex B: Wholemeal Bread
Syns: Flora Light (4), Ketchup (1) Fish (0.5)
Hot chocolate before Bed (2)0 -
Just a couple of things mrs butler :- are you sure about the fish grills? I think you'll find they are 0.5 syns EACH not for 2! It's only 0.5 difference but that could make a difference over the week.
Have you tried stirring spinach through your scrambled eggs? I usually scramble at least 3 eggs and stir through one piece of frozen spinach (defrosted & chopped). Ups the speed and it's tasty.
What did you have the Flora spread on? Was it the bread? If so, you don't really need to waste syns on it as you can just put the scrambled eggs and/or mushrooms on it. I usually have toast with mine.

Well done denise, a nice surprise when you weren’t expecting it. And welcome to any new joiners, the more the merrier
.
Went to Sainsb for some shopping including dried chickpeas, they don’t stock them! Oh well, no falafel making here today then, will have to try Waitrose and/or Tesco next time.
Just had my lunch; the aptly named Dynorod soup from the old recipe thread. I actually really like, it is filling, free and full of speed. It makes a rather large quantity and keeps me going for a few lunches. And the night I made it, I blitzed some of it, enough for DS and GF, as I knew they would eat it if it was smooth (but not with chunks of veg in *rolls eyes*, he is 22!) And with OH coming home tomorrow, it will soon disappear. Added some chopped chicken slices today, very tasty.
Am off trying another recipe, this time cookies using a Muller Light and a HEb.
