Well, mr Plummer is here . A FULL DAY installation . Not 4 day . Doh ! 🤦😹
I was trying to explain to the nice welsh chap about my speech impediment. I'm turning this into a sitcom . Still , I'm prepared etc . best I can be .Looking at the list of people of 1.5 million who will get letters ( really feel for those ) , I don't know where I stand on this . As I mentioned before , I take azathioprine , which is an immune suppressant . Hard to know what way the land lies . Anyhow hope you are all okay, and stay safe as you can .5 -
I hope you're keeping your distance from him, 2 metres.

Thanks gigervamp . Not all the time unfortunately , but most of the time I'm in the front room while he has control of the rest of the flat . Nothing more I can do , but he is very healthy and not coughing at all .. and nor am I2

Good news that the boiler is being sorted - I did think 4 days was a long time to swap over a boiler , even with it being moved. It will obviously make things easier for you in the current circumstances. Make sure Mr Plummer shows you how to re-pressurise it if necessary. Then just wipe down with hot water and soap (washing up liquid/laundry detergent) where he has been.
Alfie has been enjoying the sunshine but is a bit miffed because I am rationing his food a little. As a big old ginger cat he does eat a lot but although I have quite a bit of cat food in I need to try to make it last so am cutting it back a bit. I also keep a good store cupboard in at all times but am literally 3 minute walk to fairly large Tesco Express. I was nearly out of milk at the weekend but I could see the milk lorry unloading so popped round and bought a bottle. Before I moved here I was considering moving back to a village I had previously lived in (and loved) and a very good friend said I should be honest and consider practicalities such as public transport, shops, etc. so I chose the house I am in now and I am so glad I did as I have a bus stop, Tesco Express, pharmacy and fish and chip shop all within a few minutes walk.4 -
Hi Dreaming and Alfie 😸
Yeah , I have to be careful etc. He mentioned , that I wasn't losing my marbles after all and that the office did say 4 days . I know I forget things , but not something like that 😼
Its nice to know you made the right choice regarding where you decided to locate .
I have a local Sainsbury's and Tesco and chip shop. I have felt much better over the last couple of years , especially now that prednisolone has gone . I will tread carefully and may only go as far as these shops , if they are still functioning .As for Alfie , I'm sure you'll give him some sponge cake to compensate ..😼2 -
Talking of sponge cake, this "lock down" is not good for my diet! Today I have made a sponge cake and some coconut flapjacksDebt free and Keeping on Track3
