Morning All,
Cranky Well done on the loss and sorry to hear about the job.
Brambling Best of luck with keeping the kitten out and at least it amused your colleagues. I need to try to remember to take the breaks that I would when I'm in the office and go for some long walks. I normally do 10,000 steps a day just getting to and from work and going for a wander at lunch time, yesterday I did just over 2,000
Dumpling Don't beat yourself up about the gain. It's a very weird, extremely worrying time and a lot of people, me included, use food as a way to try to cope. And definitely ditch the "friend", even if it was said jokingly it's horrible and unnecessary.
roundtuit Well done on the loss, although I don't think I want to try the Lemsip diet any time soon!! I hope you're feeling better now.
I really hope things calm down soon, I'm going to be an even fatter alcoholic if I carry on the way I did yesterday
Keep safe and best of luck everyone xx7 -
Made a cake with love for my mother for Mothering Sunday - well DH did it i supervised. Also smartie buns for my 3 who are currently working from home. Good to achieve something hope you all had a good day x
Had a small taste but was very restrained xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -
Evening All
Well in from work, very busy as usual, we had to close for lunch as not enough staff in, popped out to the butchers and managed to get a couple of pork chops for next week and some stewing steak that I shall use for a curry at some point, no shopping delivery slots available until the 9th, so will have to try a get some bits in around work. Mouth full of abuse from customers as we were trying to get back into the branch after lunchI don't understand some people, the bank opposite have decided to close on Saturdays until this is over, you'd think they'd be happy we are still open.
Lucky today as dd cooked a lovely chilli which was ready when I got in, porridge for breakfast and some pasta at lunch, did stuff myself with sweets at work today though, not normally a sweet lover but I guess the6 were needed!
Must say Dumpling funny idea your friend has of friendship, very unkind xx
Roundtuit well done on the loss, hope you are feeling better soon xx

Well done Roundtuit you've smashed your target 👏👏. I hope you're feeling better soon
Dumpling it sounds to me that she's not really a friend, I know we are all stressed by the current situation but that's when true friends should be supporting each other not being cruel, we can't do more than listen but you know we're always here for you if you need to talk or rant.
Sirens there will be a lot of people who should be ashamed of themselves, the world seems to have gone mad and it's bringing out the worst of some people. Luckily it's also bringing out the best of some. I think you have earned the sweets today
My day got as exiting as cleaning the grouting in the bathroom 🙄 and chatting to a neighbour from a safe distance, the road may have heard the discussion as she's deaf when you're close to her 🙂. My sister and I'm are walking tomorrow she says we can been a safe distance from each other, more shouting then 😳
B - banana
L- bacon and egg roll
D - airfried chicken and chips, broccoli
S - fibre one bar

I have not been around for a bit, things have gone a bit crazy. I am continuing my eating plan, I have not been walking as much (but now the rain has stopped and the muddy bits have hardened - i will up my game while I am able) this week has been a challenge with having to make substitutions for Some of the things I usually buy. I have been eating rice cakes instead of toast untill I could get brown bread, no apples so I have substituted raw carrots for a few days.
I have been off this week as I need to use holidays before the end of the month, planned to do loads, but plans curtailed by both hubby and brother working from home and me not being able to cause much disturbance.
Hubby took me out Friday lunchtime for a supprise birthday/anniversary meal (he took an extended lunch break and made up the time) it was a supprise as birthday and anniversary are not untill April and he felt that it would be unlikely it would be possible then .. a few hours later all venues were told to shut.
I am stil losing, my working hours have changed - as the shopping centre I work in has reduced its opening hours, and the bus service has of tomorrow gone to hourly (and only if they if they have enough staff to cover that) nothing fits my work schedule so I will be walking - if it rains I will look ridiculas in my big red (3 size to big) waterproof coat - but needs must.
I ordered a dress online, for a wedding next month, looks lovely and was not expensive, the wedding has been postponed but I have decided to not return the dress (as it is the one item in my wardrobe that fits well, most items are now too big I have bought a few smaller cheap staples). I just feel the having a nice dress to wear, even if I have nowhere to go, will help keep me on track and remind me of how far I have come in the times ahead.
We walked into town today to return library books .. it was like a ghost town .. and so many shops already closed due to covid 19.
Everyone on this thread, keep on trying, keep safe and well, don't get too stressed if you can't stick 100% to your plan due to shortages of certain foods, just make good nutritious choices to support your immune system
I am thinking maybe it is time to get a set of scales, as most of my clothes are too big and no longer looking better!! As many high street clothing shops are closing due to c virus - i have the excuse to gain a bit and not notice due to every bit of everyday clothes being loose ... scales would help me keep track..
My reason for not using them is long standing, I have mostly been overweight, I was diagnosed with gallstones in my early 30's I went homer Simpson yellow within 24 hours - i realised I had 2 previous attacks since the age of 13!! I went compleatly fat free for 6 months - i went from a size 18 to a size 10 (that was getting loose) my ribs were visible and my my face was gaunt - i was skin and bone. I went for my pre op and was told I was still overweight for my 5 foot hight, despite my appearance! Maybe I wiegh heavy!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"7 -
Another 1 lb gone mainly due to elderly family related stress.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

B - sausages, mushrooms and tomatoes
L - one small quiche made with nettles
T - curry with various veg and chicken
Weighing in the morning. Can’t feel any difference this week!

Good evening all,
When the HT was small I was always moaning that he was such an early riser. Running along the prom in the sunshine (It was still very cold) with him this morning with hardly another soul in sight I was finally glad that he wakes up so earlyWe did shout good morning to the 10 or so people that we saw but we kept a good distance between us. It feels a bit surreal all this.....
Take care all of you6
