Evening all 👋. I had problems accessing the site last night so I'm playing catch up 🙃.
well done on all weight losses and 🥳 to Miss Behaving for reaching your first target 👏
Blue Doggy I did enjoy Agrippina thank you. I hope Senior doggy is feeling better and you can sleep in your bed tonight
Well done on making that first step and getting on the scales Frith 🙂 👏
Izadora rant away it's allowed here, just remember the rule about being kind to yourself 🙂 . I've just sat for the last hour stuffing my face, not sure why as I wasn't hungry when I got in and by now feel 🤢 and slightly ashamed by it 🙁.
I hope you you feel better tomorrow Procrastinator 🙂. And enjoy your day out, hopefully the weather will be kind
Zafiro as a asthmatic I understand where you are coming from, I was at the theatre tonight and was aware on how many people were coughing around me. I did say today at work that as a overweight asthmatic lady of a certain age I was frequently breathless with a dry cough and I run too hot much of the time 🥺 so not sure I would know the difference 😣
I was out again tonight to the theatre tonight with my sister to see Jane Eyre. I had forgotten how depressing Charlotte Bronte would be. It was a very small cast and the actress who played Jane was in every scene
Time for bed now it's late and I think the sugar rush has just died

Hello Ive had a bad couple of days Mental health wise well its all linked to my physical health. Darling husband working at home so have company which helps. Anyway I weighed in and have lost1lb which is ok but I have followed the diet rigidly and been as active as usual so a bit disappointed if truth be told (but then Im very hard on myself).
Well done to those who lost and STS and to those who have gained keep positive. Sorry i can't contribute much at the moment but Im not in a good place atm. xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -
Morning All,
Blue Doggy I'm glad that senior doggy was a bit better and I hope you're feeling a bit better after sleeping in your own bed.
Procrastinator I hope you're feeling better today, enjoy the NT property and I hope it's a good visit with your mum
Frith That's a very healthy menu, well done!
Roundtuit I love some of the channels playing old music, although I don't think I know Bellamy Brothers, and our kitchen radio (echo dot) is very often set to Absolute 70s
Brambling I hope you've recovered from the sugar rush and the joyousness of Jane Eyre. I know it's not really funny but the comment about being a woman of a certain age with asthma did make me giggle
Molly Sorry you're struggling at the moment and please don't feel that you need to apologise for anything. I know that it can seem disappointing when you don't lose as much as you hoped but you're well past your target and still heading in the right direction, which is a massive achievement. I'm glad your husband's at home with you and feel free to come here and vent or hibernate as needed.
Thank you all for being lovely about me being a bit ranty and I'll try to remember to be kind to myself, somehow it's always easier to be kind to others and I would never dream of saying any of the things that I think about myself to anyone else.
I'd like to say that I kept the lid firmly on it yesterday but it exploded off in a rather spectacular fashion mid-afternoon and I haven't quite got it stapled back down yet. I am still planning on going for my next C25K run/shuffle at lunch though (working from home today) and hopefully dinner won't be too harsh. I'm going to try to recreate some of our favourite Chinese food, which should involve a lot less oil than a takeaway, so it'll either be lovely or it'll go so horribly wrong that I end up calling the local restaurant to deliver
Best of luck everyone xx10 -
I have had a horrible realisation. When I checked the calories of my (many many) times of improvised pies and junk food, apart from the ice cream fiasco, I was having LESS calories off plan than healthy eating ON plan.
Today's plan
Salmon and cucumber on wholemeal roll. Giant apple.
Beef/mushroom/pepper/onion curry with brown rice and salad.
pea and ham soup or porridge if I get hungry.

Evening all, thankfully not as busy work week family week a little different but hopefully turning a corner! Sadly it hasn't made a difference to my weigh in I've stayed the same grrr!!!
Thank you Blue Doggy, our eldest DS is disabled so we have up and down days, at the mo it seems a lot of down days, mainly because he retreats indoors and doesn't go out, at least the days are getting lighter which helps.
Brambling, I do the same as you, all good intentions batch cooking then eat bits that are left over, or when cleaning cupboards I find stray chocolate bars of which when brought I'd hidden from praying eyes ( the men in the house!!) and forget about! I have to admit I love anything by Jane Eyre, probably because I was brought up not far from where it was filmed!
Izadora, If you hide things like I do you'll only find them next year!!
Frith, You sound like me , having a blitz with cooking when my lovely freezer looks even remotely half full!
Honey, I also love semolina with a spoonful of jam, I have it even now, but you can keep the frog spawn, yuck!!

Good evening everyone
procrastinator I hope you’ve been feeling better today, and were able to enjoy your visit to the NT property. Congratulations on your STS👍Frith your menu is looking very good! Good luck
roundtuit it’s lovely that most of us can easily find the style of music we like, even if it’s now gone “vintage”
Brambling appreciation to you for keeping the chart updated after your busy days 💐 I understand what you mean about “Jane Eyre”, it’s a bit gloomy. “Wuthering Heights” is the one I can’t get on with, I’ve tried several times to read it but can never finish it (all the Brontës seem to have been rather dark).
Molly congratulations on your loss 👏 Stay strong, you’re doing so well, your weight is going down really splendidly. You are currently the one who’s lost the most weight of any of us! 🌹🥇and it’s not going to be easy to catch up with you!
Izadora I hope the Chinese meal turned out well 🍚 🥢If it helps, you are currently in Bronze medal position on the humongous chart, 🥉🌷, keep up the good work! Well done on C25K.
Honey label reading is very informative, even if sometimes it’s a bit of an x-rated shockerYour plan for today looks yummy, (how does it rate for calories?)
It was lovely to stretch out in my bed last night. Senior Doggy is back to his normal self today
The weather was nice enough today for me to get into the garden and do some tidying.
Today’s food:
B : fish fingers with fennel
L : a very large (120g) cranberry flapjack (which was in a hamper I was given for Christmas & which was 30% sugar), a cup of coffee, a bowl of skyr and an apple
D : herb omelette, green beans, butternut squash and celeriac; cinnamon yogurt
Stay well and stay strong, people!
