WEIGHING INGood evening everyone
roundtuit very well done!👍👍
sue14 congratulations! 👏
SIRENS Glad you enjoyed your DD’s birthday celebrations 🎉
Well, when I weighed myself this morning I had a big fat STS but not unexpected after sistergate!
It was also time for the monthly measuring-up, and I was delighted to find I’ve lost 2 inches off my bust and 2 inches off my waist (without gaining anywhere else!). Whoo-hoo!
On today’s menu:
B : porridge
D : roast lamb, steamed parsnips, leek, spring greens; cinnamon yogurt
T : chicken salad (celery, apple)
S : none
Best wishes for the week ahead everyone“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend , A hetic weekend for us, eldest DS isn't in a happy place at the mo, so caring for him , Youngest DS has been training all weekend so I could do with a duplicate of me or DH ( who has been working all weekend ) to help with the load...!!! On the bright side I have managed to loose 1lb , probably all the running around I'm doing!! Hopefully normal service will resume shortly......x9

Thank you for the support xx
B - porridge
D - vegetarian sausages, boiled potatoes, Brussels sprouts, leeks, gravy (lunch at Dad's)
T - scrambled eggs on toast, yogurt
S - banana
I need to do a big shop and get some healthy options bought - if there is anything left on the shelves
Onwards and upwards downwards. Have a good week.

I wonder if Zafiro is my neighbour? We have had internet on and off and then they made it worse by digging it.
I have made a weeks supply of lentil soup, ham and pea soup and beef stew, and a huge pan of semolina, which hopefully will keep me away from the ice cream this week. (I seem to have fallen head first into the tub)
Todays menu was Waldorf salad and egg peas and chips. And grapes.
Tomorrow's plan...
Semolina.
Beef curry.
Soup if needed.

Well done Sue14 and jackrabbit on your losses 👏👏. Blue Doggy wow 4 inches that makes up for the STS 👏
Sirens you're allowed to eat cake, you're daughter's only 16 once 😉.
Welcome back Honey 🙂 I was enjoying your menu until the semolina, reminds me of primary school dinners 🤢
I did some cooking today including chicken and veg soup for the next three lunches and some stewed apple and blackberries, I resisted the urge to add a crumble topping. This afternoon I went to another NY met opera screening of Agrippina, the friend I usually go with is a opera snub and didn't want to go as it was in modern dress, I probably enjoyed it more without her moaning about it next to me 🙄.
B
L- slice of salmon and broccoli quiche with spinach salad
D - pork stroganoff with soba noodles, green beans, purple sprouting and roast parsnips (the last a little random 🙂)
S - two wagon wheels, pack of crispsLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9 -

Honey you were that child we all wanted on our lunch table, semolina with a teaspoon of jam or even worst tapioca aka frog spawn. I believe the start of weight issues is often making a child sit until they have finished every thing even when they aren't hungry.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin9

I'm having a strangely busy one at work today so just a quick one to say well done for the losses and lost inches definitely make up for a STS.
Commiserations to any other gainers - my weigh in this morning was another +2lb gain - and I definitely understand feeling ridiculously annoyed with yourself but still not being able to stop shoveling in rubbish. Despite knowing that eating well and exercising makes me feel better, both physically and mentally, I seem to have absolutely zero motivation to do anything other than sit on the sofa and stuff myself full of things that I know I should be avoiding. I really need to get a grip soon though because I've got less than three months until holiday and no summer clothes which I can get my fat carcass into!!
Best of luck everyone xx8 -
