Good evening everyone
Congratulations to all who’ve lost weight and commiserations to all who’ve gained weight, and hugs to all who need a hug.
I haven’t posted for a couple of days because my sister was visiting and we had lots to do and talk about. I sort-of kept to my diet when I could, but biscuits, buttered cheese scones, and even c-a-k-e were eaten.
However, I’m now back in “really sticking to it” mode, and hoping to avoid squashing onto the naughty stepso today I’ve eaten:
B : porridge
L : ham omelette with it’s-too-cold-for-salad mixed veg
D : grilled steak with onion, carrots and celery; cinnamon yogurt
S : 2 squares of diet-not-properly-stuck-on 85% chocolate“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Those on the naughty step be careful of the grumpy silver tabby hiding under it, he'll steal your wool to sleep on 🙀
Glad you had a good catchup Blue Doggy 🙂 I find sisters can easily lead us astray, doesn't usually take mine much persuading 🙄
its been a very wet day, it's seems we had half a months rain, I hadn't realised it was that wet as I didn't go out lunchtime. The local radio was full of flooded roads in the county, luckily although a lot of surface water no closed roads however I avoided my usual route home as that does flood. The joys of driving cross country I may have to buy a boat 😳
B - porridge and fruit
L - Turkey broth, strawberries and nectarine
D - pasta with a tomato and vegetable sauce
S - grapes, 2 finger kit kat

Had a huge bout of BSD prep tonight! Cooked and froze:
8 beanburgers (4 meals)
6 portions of Spanish chicken
4 portions of goulash
4 portions of tagine
That should keep me going! Also bought the necessary food for a weeks worth of breakfasts and lunches - yoghurt, frozen berries, creme fraiche, avocados and smoked salmon.9 -
Wow Frith, you have been really busy! It all sounds absolutely delicious too.
Good morning all, I cannot sleep due to pain so I am up, distracting myself with a potter round the world wide web. I thought I would be hungry as I last ate at 5pm but so far I feel ok. I have some porridge ready for when I do want some breakfast.
I have planned some meals for today:
b - porridge and a banana
l - broccoli and stilton soup
d - chicken and bacon tortellini and cheese sauce
s - apple and a low calorie biscuit bar thing
Next week is my daughter's 20th birthday and she has requested lasagne, chips and garlic bread. Carbolicious, can't wait to have a little bit of everything. I do love pasta and cheese so much. Hopefully I am still on track to lose my gain and continue to lose weight. My friend is having a gastric bypass and told me I should have one too but I much prefer to do it the old fashioned way. I don't think surgery would work for me as it doesn't tackle the emotional aspect of over eating. Anyway, that's all I have to say about that. Hope you all have a great day and make healthy choices xx

Good morning all,
Reporting a STS this week. I've been full of cold which was a parting gift from my best friend apparently. He's been much more poorly than me so I'll let him off. Beige food has been eaten though as I just didn't have the will or the energy to do more than shove things in the oven. I'm starting to feel better and my sister is talking about jumping on the diet wagon with me after her trip to New York. We always do better when we diet together even though we live in different countries and mostly message each other rather than actually talk.
I agree with you about the bypass dumpling. My friend's daughter had a gastric band and was soon managing to consume a lot of things that she had been told were banned but she did lose weight. When the band slipped and she had to have it removed she went straight back to her old eating habits and piled all the weight that she'd lost straight back on.
Take care all of you8 -

Internet not been working for over a week but came back on again last night,.apparently it will go off again soon as they need to dig up the road to mend a fault.
STS this week. I seem to overeat at lunchtime as its usually a bit of this and a bit of that, leftovers, bits in the fridge etc. I think the problem is that we come in from work, which is quite physical, DH sits down and I try to produce an instant lunch. Thinking about it it seems I have two choices the first is to preplan what to eat, the second is to retrain DH into helping. After over 50 yrs of being married I think the second idea would be a no goer or a miracle.8 -

D - salad, cheese, coleslaw, boiled egg
T - toasted cheese sandwich, yogurt

Phew. Good luck everyone: it's a bit chaotic in my neck of the woods with the odd missed meal but then I've over compensated with junk.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
