Hi zafiro I've added you to the chart do you have a target for the rest of the quarter you want me to add?
I know what you mean about losing and putting weight back on
I lost 4 stone 10 years ago and then 'things' happened which meant 5 stone came back on
I've lost half that again but seem to have spent all last year faffing about with the same half stone coming on and off
Thanks for the tip of colouring text red Molly
I'm another one who likes the sound of your champagne diet Honey
So far i've managed to avoid the works biscuit tin today
B - porridge and fruit
L - Rice and vegetables
D - not sure yet as I had a very late lunch but if i cook it will involve smoked codLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
Good evening everyone
patentgirl, procrastinator well done on STS 👏👏 I think of it as a “pause” while the cells get processed before more weight is lost.
Zafiro hi 🙋♀️ It’s good to hear your heart is mended. I’ve found the most difficult part of losing weight isn’t actually the losing it (that’s hard enough), but it’s the keeping it off , stopping it from finding you again and jumping back on board that’s the really hard part. Good luck on your new restart.
Brambling commiserations on the gainand well done on restraint re chips
It seems hard that while we shiver in doorways waiting for our pets to make their minds up we don’t actually lose weight keeping warm. Not even a smidge! They do say cats have staff, though. (I think Senior Doggy may be a cat in disguise
)
honey surely champagne will help you lose weight? it’s all bubbles🥂🍾 - just air ...
Molly congratulations on the loss👏👏 and thank you very much for the tip about getting colour into our posts.
Izadora very well done on yesterday sticking to plan and giving the leftover wine away. I’m the same about things that are opened, I find myself thinking “if it’s opened it needs using up before it goes off” which, I have to tell myself, is a myth.Went to do my supermarketing this morning and decided that the goodies offered as “Valentine’s Day dinner for two” would with a little adjustment to the meal plans fit in nicely. Wine is put away for Christmas, the rest is slotting in, but none of it will be eaten as a “dinner for two” although it’ll make two dinners plus some
On the menu today
B - porridge
L - smoked salmon with watercress & chicory; skyr with pomegranate seeds
D - venison burger (no bread) with stir-fried carrots, sprouts and onions; yogurt with mixed berries (from the “dinner for two”)

I have somehow managed to put THREE POUNDS ON this week.
Is this a record?
Today has been quite easy.
Pork and piccalilli butty
Grapes.
Strawberries.
Porridge.6 -
Come join me on the naughty step Honey 🙈 I think we can safely say Blue Doggy's theory on the champagne diet was wrong
. Seeing as I'm not going back to check I think we will say not a record 🧐.

Hello All
I'm happy to report a small loss of -1.5lb which is what I gained last week!I can't get the hang of this new forum at all, can't seem to remember which posts I've read so I keep liking and thus unliking posts and then having to like them again
I have not been on my bike this week as I seemed to have pulled something in my knee so am finding bending it a little uncomfortable so have decided to give it a rest for a week.
Hello Zafiro, lovely to see you, glad the op went well xx
Today I have eaten
B banana/pear
l roll and dry fried egg
d ham and broccoli pasta bake
ive also had a yog, some mini meringue and a pkt of light pop corn.
Well done everyone, and thanks for the chart Brambling, it looks fab xx'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Well done Sirens 👏 hopefully I can lose my gain next week, I'm currently sitting here telling myself I don't need to eat anything 🤐 as I'm not hungry, I may go to bed instead 😴 I hope the knee feels better tomorrowLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6

Thanks Brambling and everyone else who has commented, I just knew this would be the same supportive thread as last time.
I tend to lose weight quite quickly at the start of a diet so I think 10lb would be realistic as there are six weeks to go before the end of March.
Regarding my ops and I won't dwell on them again but in the last 4 years I've had 2 new hips, 1 reconstructed heart, and 1 knee replaced - my other knee will need doing soon. I have come to regard my ops as an annual holiday as it's the only time I'm pampered and waited on. My DH says to friends either 'I'm not the woman he married' or 'I've more spare parts than his landrover' - bless him
How do you get colour on this new format, I can't see where to do it?6 -
Molly41 said:Hello just trying out the colour this is courtesy of Natty on the fly lady threads You do this Basically I click on at the top of the message box, then at the beginning of each paragraph I put the following then to stop it you do Its a hassle but it works xLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3

Hi everyone:)
wow, Zafro! You’ve certainly been through the wringer with all those ops! Good luck with the weight loss.
Honey, I’ve been a real misery guts this week, but your “s0d it fish and chips” post really made me giggle
I’ve decided that I hate the new forum layout! It’s awful to use in a phone, and I agree on the thanks being really confusing- I keep thanking and unthanking posts because you can’t tell which you’ve already clicked on!
Can you budge up a bit please on the naughty step, so I can join you? Had a good week and a half but I’ve really crashed and burned these past couple of days. I’m eating out twice over the weekend too so next weigh in isn’t going to be a good one
Wishing you all a lovely weekend whatever you’re doing6 -
oops I didn't notice I was removing thanks
Bfh come join us I'm making cushions so it will be more comfortable although i do have a padded rear endI'm hoping the sewing will stop me from eating in the evenings
Enjoy your weekend and don't worry about food
