I’d just typed a good long reply, looked back at a previous page just to check a detail, and when I came back all my comment had been erased. The moral of this story is if you’re going to page back make sure you save your work first!
Icy again today, Senior Doggy doesn’t like to go into the garden even with his coat on, just stands on the threshold looking out and letting in the Siberian draughts! Junior Doggy on the other hand (or paw!) loves the way the scents are enhanced by the cold and likes being out.
Today I ate:

Evening all 👋 as suspected the scales weren't pretty tonight and I'm going to need a bigger naughty step 2lb on
I think I should have bit the bullet last week and weigh and dealt with what probably have been half that
. I will admit I didn't want to get on them tonight either. I'll hunt out my ruler later after I've pouted for a bit and draw a thick line under this last couple of weeks tomorrow 📏🖍And I'm ashamed to say I came back from my sister via the chippy 🐷 I did stop at a small portion of chips

Blue Doggy Thank you for the warning, I'll remember to try not to change pages when I'm in the middle of a post. It's a shame that junior doggy's enthusiasm doesn't rub off on senior doggy. Pets deciding to take some air, without venturing out, is always a joy!!
Brambling I know how disheartening it is but at least now you know where you are you can draw your line and well done for stopping at small chips. Our cat has an annoying habit of crying for the back door to be opened, and then not wanting to go out, even though we've left the office door open for him to let himself in and out.
patentgirl Well done for the STS. I know you would have preferred a loss but hopefully the weight's just being a bit stubborn and will go next week.

Honey I like the sound of yesterday's menuWell done for avoiding the buffet and I hope the head's not too sore today, champagne always gives me a vicious hangover.
Yesterday went to plan, I even managed to avoid wine and made my parents take what was left home with them as I know that if there's a bottle open in the fridge I will drink it. Lunch ended up being a use-up of halloumi with mushrooms and spinach.
Today's plan is:
B - takeaway skinny latte
2nd B - bran flakes
L - soup and crusty bread
D - omelette and salad, with home made wedges if I have enough calories left.

Can I join in again?
First the good news ...... Three years ago on the 14/feb/17 I started a diet, I think I joined this thread a few weeks later. I managed to lose a tad short of 4 stone in the year - I needed to because I had a serious heart problems. I got a huge amount of support from this thread for which I am very grateful.
Now the bad news......... heart is mended and working well thanks to the Royal Brompton but I have put back all of the four stone so I want to lose the weight again. I hadn't the heart (sorry for the pun) to start again until now It's the 14th Feb tomorrow, exactly three years to the day when I started the original diet, so I feel inspired and ready to have another go and this time keep it off.6 -
Hi Zafiro, welcome back and I'm glad to hear that the heart's mended.
I've lost weight and put it back on again so many times now that I know how difficult it is to get started and knowing that I've done it before so should be able to do it again doesn't ever seem to help but best of luck with it all.5
