Brilliant! :T
Food today.
Meat and potato pie with green beans.
Maybe a tub of low calorie ice cream while watching the masked singer.
I went to Bolton market today and got some very cheap chicken, giant beef joint, and steak.
I was EXTREMELY tempted when I looked in the stall that sold Hargen Daz ice cream, four for three pounds, and catering size black forest gateaux for a fiver.
I was halfway through persuading myself that I was getting them for other people, and then came to my senses and left them in the shop!0 -
Good evening everyone
Brambling sorry to hear about your work IT problems, computers are fine (possibly) when they work, but when they don’t it’s a real pain. If you enjoyed your crusty roll and ham it probably did you more good than any amount of healthy lentil soup (and not necessarily much less healthy?)And cupcakes on a Friday after a week with recalcitrant computers must be good for the spirits.
Have a good weekend and I hope the lurgy stays away.
procrastinator well done on that good loss! :j:j
sarahj that kilo off is your springboard for February.
Honey very well done on walking away from those tempting things! :T The will-power fairy must have been whispering in your ear.:)
I spent the afternoon catching up with emails, quite stressful (goodness knows why, I was only writing to friends and family).
Today’s menu:
B: bacon & eggs
L: sardines with tomato paste and salad of lambs lettuce and apple, tangerine
D venison burger (no bread or potatoes) celeriac, peas & carrots, cinnamon yogurt
S: two small ginger biscuits (for stress relief) 1 square of 85% chocolate

After my good start last week, it's a STS for me this week, not happy but at least I haven't put anything on.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Forgot to post yesterday. My weigh-in was STS. I'm quite pleased with that actually as it's my time of the month and I am definitely a bit bloated at the moment.
As well as weighing myself, I'm taking my measurements at the start of each month. So, in one month I've lost 2.5" from my waist, nothing from my hips, 2" from my bust and 1" from under my bust. Definitely pleased with that.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650 -

Good evening everyone
Sue and Toonie congratulations on STS.
Toonie and well done on the inches lost, too :T
It’s where it’s at today,I’ve STS again. I’ve also confirmed the one inch off my waist, so no complaints :rotfl: Might have been better to have cut out the cheese, biscuits , and chocolate so must try that this week in spite of 3 social events: afternoon with friends tomorrow for starters, my turn to provide the biscuits (and we can get competitive about who provides the nicest :rotfl: ... ).
Today’s food:
B: porridge
L: grilled steak, mushrooms, broccoli, celery followed by raspberries with yogurt
T: apple, tangerine, bowl of skyr
S: 2 oatcakes with Marmite, 4 squares of 85% chocolate (:D being “good” starts tomorrow).

Good morning everyone :hello:
I am here to record a 3lb loss this week. I am so pleased that the weight is coming off steadily and it doesn't feel too hard either as being so large I have loads of calories to play with. I can't wait to get into smaller sized clothes but that will be ages yet as everything I own is stretchy or elasticated. Saying that, I bought 2 dresses last Summer in the hope of slimming into them so once I lose another stone I will try them on.
Last week we ate a lot of meals from the 2nd PON book and this week I will be going back to the Hairy Dieter's first cookbook for recipes. In no particular order we will be having Lamb Tagine, Liver, Bacon and Onions, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Old Fashioned Chicken and Vegetable casserole.
Hope all my fellow Monday weighers have a good result and Good Luck to everyone on here.0
