Good evening everyone
All who have STS well done, I hope you’ll soon see the losses you deserve. :j
Sunflwr congratulations on the loss :j
Cranky That’s very good advice about walking on the spot in those little idle minutes. :T
Brambling I hope the lurgy stays away.
SIRENS well done on getting to work on your new exercise bike. :T I hope your knees soon find it easier.
Having had a quiet morning reading, I visited a friend in the afternoon and did my supermarket shop afterwards since it’s on my way home.
Today’s menu:
B: porridge
L: cold beef (from Xmas joint) with salad of apple & fennel, cinnamon yogurt
D avocado pear (impulse buy from the ys shelf), gammon steak with carrots & broccoli, yogurt with raspberries
S: one hobnob biscuit at friend’s“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hello x
Well done my cleaning (already i know) so hopefully will have burnt some calories!!!
Ive been walking on the spot like Cranky suggested - i have to hold onto the side otherwise i topple over and set my fall alarm off - 4 time yesterday:eek:
Hope you all have a positive day xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Well done everyone for your weight losses and well done to the STSs - always good when you don't put any on. When I STS I tend to think it's my body adjusting to my new weight and next week, I will lose again. Fingers crossed for everyone!
I've not had broadband for a couple of days so am late updating my weekly weight loss... this week I've managed to lose 1lb.
It definitely feels like I should have lost a lot more because at times I was so hungry I thought my stomach was going to eat itselfIt's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.0 -
Sorry I’ve not been posting; I have been reading. I’ve been feeling absolutely shattered this week, maybe because I don’t sleep very solidly at night; I always wake for a few hours around 1am. I’m hoping losing weight might help.
Hope you’re feeling better *Brambling*
*Molly* you’ve put me to shame - I’ve not even started my housework yet
Well done to the losers and STS-ers.
And a big big thank you everyone, for the support and encouragement.
I got my head back into it on Tuesday and from then on I’ve been focussed on making healthy choices.
Day off today and first chance to go to gym this week. Will head off in a bit, then come back and tackle that cleaning!
Hubby wants an Indian takeaway tonight and I’ve already earmarked the most low fat/least damaging option I can find on the menu.
Not sure what the weekend holds but am determined to get out of the house for a bit to stay away from the fridge!
Have a great weekend all0 -
Morning All
Sunflwer15 Well done on the loss, sorry I missed it yesterday. I hope C25K is going okay, I got to week 7 last year (then holiday and life got in the way and I gave up) and have started again this year. I'm most definitely not a runner but have just started week 5 and am amazed how quickly the shorter runs become easier.
Sirens Well done on the STS and using the exercise bike, hopefully your knees will improve soon. I'm with your son on kale, it's evil stuff and I can chew it for 3 years and still find it impossible to swallow
Brambling I hope today manages to be kinder than the rest of the week's been and that your lurgy decides to wander off rather than pounce.
Blue Doggy It sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday and I hope you enjoyed the time and hobnob with your friend
procrastinator Maybe the lack of posting was living up to your username
Molly Well done on having the cleaning done already!! I keep putting mine off... Take care with your walking on the spot
Miss Behaving Well done on the loss and hopefully you'll be less hungry and lose more this week.
Bfh Well done for getting back into it. I hope all goes well at the gym and enjoy your takeaway tonight.
Yesterday I ended up having home made veg curry and rice for dinner, instead of the planned pasta, and an Orange Club as a snack.
I'm struggling to decide what to eat today. I'm having one of those down-in-the-dumps days where everything's too much effort and I'm trying to avoid doing my usual thing of resorting to crisps and chocolate so, even though my stomach's growling like mad at me, there's nothing I actually fancy eating. I'm sure I'll snap out of it soon enough and come up with something that'll clear the misogs without being too hideously calorific.
I hope everyone had a good weekend and best of luck with avoiding temptations xx0 -
One and a half pounds gone this week, and I had to take my nighty off to get the half!Sorry I’ve not been posting; I have been reading.
Its half past two and I have still not done any housework. Not only that, I have no plans to.
Sometimes you put a lot of effort in and get very little result.
Todays food.
Wholemeal noodles, chicken corn mushrooms peas.
Raspberry crumble and yogurt made with no sugar and oatbran. It was edible, but I wouldn't be offering it to Gordon Ramsey in a hurry.
Porridge later.0 -
Good evening everyone
procrastinator your meal out with your OH sounds good
Molly well done on getting your cleaning done nice and early, and congratulations on walking on the spot. :T Stay safe.
Miss Behaving congratulations on the loss :j I think feeling really hungry is a sign that weight will come off. Have you tried drinking a glass of water at such times? Sometimes thirst feels like hunger.
Bfh good to see you back, sleeping badly is horrible, I hope you soon get some better sleep.
Izadora I hope you found something both healthy and comforting to eat, down-in-the-dumps days are prime for tipping us onto the junk eating path.Hopefully you’re feeling better now.
Honey congratulations on losing that weight (even with extreme measures!) :j The crumble sounds “healthy” if not delicious :rotfl:
Horrible rainy cold day today, still at least January is over. Snowdrops are out, daffodils are in full bud, birds and squirrels are busy courting.
Eaten today:
B: porridge
L: cottage cheese with avocado, lambs lettuce and celery, followed by plain skyr
D steamed cod with carrots, peas and fennel, yogurt with raspberries
S: added snack report
Wishing you all a good weekend!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Well done on your losses Miss Behaving and Honey :T. Honey don't we all strip off to weigh
. Not necessary a good idea if you go to WW or SW :rotfl:
Don't forget foxes courting Blue Doggy, there's nothing quite like being woken up by a screaming vixon
I'm another one who had a disturbed sleep last night, I woke 2am too hot, I think it's age thing rather a temperature thing, I did get a heavy sigh from the cat as it was duvet on, duvet off, duvet on....
This week has been pants at work and got worst today, it took over an hour to log into our laptops this morning and all systems got progressively worst as the day went on. Unfortunately it was another birthday in the office as well2 cupcakes :silenced: I also threw away my healthy lentil soup and went and brought a crusty roll and a thick slice of ham cut from the bone
At least dinner was a healthier beef and mushroom stir fry and rice
I will be good at the weekend promise or I'll have the first gain of the quarter and will be on the naughty stephopefully if this cold finally does something I'll lose my appetite
