Morning.
Bit of a manic day yesterday, so no time to think about snacking
B- cereal bar
L- egg and cress sarnie
D - salmon, new potatoes, Greek salad.
I’ve no clue yet what’s on today’s menu; everyone is home at different times this evening, so I need something quick and easy.
Have a good day all.2 -
Hello x
Weigh in for me and its a loss of 2lbs which Im very happy with :j:j Actually its a bit more as i couldn't bear to tell you that i'd gained half a pound last week a STS was all I could process - sorry xx
Keep positive on your weight loss journey xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.2 -
Oh well done Molly. I hope that you feel a bit happier now :j2

Hi everyone, popping on to tell you that this week I have STS
I'm going to try much harder next week!
Well done to everyone who has lost weight this weekIt's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.2 -
Today’s meals:
B - chocolate peanut butter overnight oats (less naughty than it sounds) with cherries on the side
S - 1/2 banana
L - small bowl of HM lentil, bacon & veg soup with two slices buttered bread and a big handful cut up salad veg (carrots, cucumber, peppers and tomatoes)
D - HM cottage pie (lots of veg and some lentils added to the meat) topped with sweet potato & potato mash and some broccoli/cauliflower on the side
Steps so far - just over 14k (will get a bit more through the evening but probably not over 15k in total)
Toying with the idea of doing some YouTube yoga when husband goes for his shower later as I had a sore wrist stopping me from doing yoga the last week but it seems better today.
Hope everyone is having a successful day!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Evening all,
A walk / pull around the football pitch, woods and playground with a mini bean this morning, then P.E with said mini bean ! I wish I had one of those speedometers to see how many steps I do in a day!! It's a shame it doesn't always tally with how much I loose!!
Breakfast small bowl of cheerios (normal kind!)
Lunch, peanut butter sandwich on brown bread and choc biscuit
Tea Chilli mince ( bulked out with all kinds of dried pulses etc!!) and tortilla
DS has very kindly made shortbread biscuits in school it would be unkind to of not had one...!!
Bluegreen, your Peanut butter oats sound delish , how do you make them please?
Izadora, Yes, I think I was mad trying something new but DH also goes skiing so if you can't beat um, join them as the saying goes, I take the gentler form of slow skiing though!!!
Brambling , Thank you, love the idea for a smidge but I'm grateful for a wee bit extra next week, I think I may need it!!
I hope you can dodge the cold Bfh , they take their toll on eveyrone in the house let alone the ones that's ill!
Sirens, I also love the Hairy Bikers book, we watched the program when I came out a couple of years ago too.I make their beef pasties of which I freeze and DS and I have them for our lunch sometimes throughout the week x2 -
Well done Molly and Miss Behaving :T:T.
I will be honest and admit to avoiding the scales today and probably will until next Wednesday, I've eaten cr*p all week so it's self inflicted, once I started I've found it hard to stop. A very large line will need to be drawn under this week and I'll sit on the naughty step to consider my actions:silenced: next time I would like a lurking lurgy which takes away my appetite please
Another fan of the hairy bikers diet books, their first is my favourite, I did go see them on tour when they first lost the weight, a lot of laughs and a very little cooking :rotfl:Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2 -

Off to bed now - so tired!2 -
Overnights oats recipes for all who were interested. I do love them, though mainly make it so often as the kids (4 and 1) are both obsessed with them :rotfl:
OVERNIGHT OATS (feeds me & two greedy little ones alongside some fresh fruit, could probably do two moderate adult portions)
Mix all ingredients in a tub or jar, add flavourings and leave in the fridge overnight.
1 cup oats
1 cup milk
1/2 cup yoghurt
1-2 tbsp whizzed up seeds (very optional as I don’t often bother - can use any seed I’d imagine) or chia seeds can be left whole (they are pricey though)
1/2-1 banana mashed (depending how sweet you like it, I use a whole one)
FLAVOURINGS
Chocolate - add a tbsp or 2 of cocoa powder depending how you like it
Chocolate peanut butter - as above + a tbsp peanut butter
Banana peanut butter - just the peanut butter with no cocoa
Blueberry vanilla - add 1/2 tsp vanilla and a cup of frozen blueberries. In the morning give a quick whizz with a hand blender to incorporate the berries
Strawberry vanilla - as above with frozen strawberries
Apple cinnamon - replace the banana in the base mix with a large grated apple and add a tsp cinnamon. It won’t be as sweet so add honey to taste
Mango - use a cup of frozen mango and whizz up a bit to incorporate in the morningPart time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
