    Hello All
I'm happy to report in with a loss -1.5lb I wasn't very well behaved last weekend so I'm relieved it's not a gain :p

Today I have been off so caught up with some housework and general pottering.

    Today's foods
B baked oats with fruit and some mincemeat
L noodles and lo roast chicken, pear and orange
D Will be a sort of aubergine and lentil curry and rice, new recipe for me so we shall see.

Hope you are feeling better S_glover welcome sunflower15 and thank you Brambling for keeping us in check xx

  • Thank you for the welcome Brambling and Sirens and thank you for adding me on Brambling.
I'm hoping recording my loses on here will help keep me going.
I'm starting off having meal replacement shakes, for breakfast and lunch, to kick start my weight loss for the first couple of months.
  • Stayed the flipping same AGAIN!

*Sigh* I stuck to the plan, and even had little to eat for the last couple of days except soup, because I have got Rampant-Coughing-Lurgy, (Only because I had chucked out the ice cream! :p) so I expected at least a small loss. :o

*Clutching at straws* Maybe its water retention from lying around on the couch for three days and it will show next week?:)

Well done everyone on the brilliant losses.

Well done Sirens & patentgirl :T, Honey you've been ill so cut yourself some slack :) our bodies do strange things when we're ill. Hopefully all those who are feeling ill are recovering :)

FrugalLina I hope things are going ok :)

Sunflwer I'm not sure meal replacements would work for me I think I would miss the motion of eating and I'm worried i would drink it then eat

A three hour meeting today meant I could avoid the last of the cup cakes in the kitchen and they were gone by the time we came out :D.

    B - porridge and fruit
L - chicken salad wrap followed by fresh pineapple and mango
    D - omelette
S - fibre one brownie, grapes

    Good evening everyone :)

Brambling well done on your loss! :j especially in view of that which is not to be spoken of. :p

procrastinator your salad sounds very comprehensive - you must have packed heaps of nutrients in there.

Izadora I’m glad the fairy was helpful, if there are any cheeselets left :D perhaps she has a sister to sit on them too. Your menu sounds good, did you manage to stick to it?

    sunflwr15 hi there

s_glover hope the vit C in the oranges has helped.

SIRENS congratulations on your loss! :j

Honey a pity about not losing in spite of trying, but STS is pretty good if you’ve been feeling poorly. :)

Out to see friends this morning and signed up some more sponsors. :)
The builders were still busy next door so luckily I missed a lot of it. I’m a bit worried about Senior Doggy this evening, he’s acting very “old” this evening (he’s 14 and a bit) :(.

    Today’s nosh was:
    B: porridge made with water
L: ham omelette with mixed veg
D grilled beef steak with lo aubergine, green beans and celeriac, cinnamon yogurt
    S: none!

Blue Doggy Poor Senior Doggy i hope he's ok, is he finding the cold and damp hard on his joints? my cat is only 7 but has issues with one leg and the weather has made him a little grumpy

  • Brambling thank you :) he has arthritis in both shoulders, and in his toes. He’s getting forgetful and tottery, and this evening he wanted a big cuddle, which is unusual for him; there’ve been other recent changes in his behaviour, too.

As with your cat, the weather we’ve had recently is not kind to ailing joints. I hope Spring will soon be here to comfort them both.

Blue Doggy, I don't know if you're using any supplements for your dog's arthritis, but I can highly recommend the Winston & Porter Hip and Joint Supplements. I use it for both my border collies.
