Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 1

Hi everyone,
I haven't had a chance to catch up with all your posts yet. After a very busy week off work, decorating and a busy weekend, catching up with friends, a 50th birthday party and a Stereophonics gig last night, it's back to the normal routine for me today.
Last week was a good break for the routine of work and I think gave me a bit of time to reset my mind and approach to food and the loss last week has spurred me on. Parkrun certainly felt a little easier on Saturday too, despite it being a personal worst time, mostly due to how slippy and muddy it was.
I've signed up for my first local spinning class tomorrow so am looking forward to that (think my backside might be in for a shock!) and am definitely looking forward to an early night tonight after 2 late nights in a row!0 -
Hello all
Popping my head back in here.
Will go through the thread properly later
Been a massive pig the last few days but back to normal now. One thing I have kept up is my steps challenge.
B - weetabix with honey
L - chicken breast, roast potatoes, carrots, sweet corn, gravy and cranberry sauce. I had that with a Diet Coke and a slice of my daughters chocolate cakes which I made for her little party yesterday
D - lentil soup which I will make shortly
E - my steps challenge continues:money::rotfl::T0 -
Hello everyone, sorry family stuff has taken me away from being on here much these past few days. I was worried about my weigh in this morning as I have really taken my eye off the ball again this week, but I have another STS, which is a relief.
We are still in limbo land with regards the funeral (it seems to take so long these days, doesn't it?), well we know when it is (Feb), but there is no closure until it is over. Still a lot of very sad people around me. I am doing my best, but it is hard!
Keep up the good work everyone!31.5/1000 -

Well done for all the losses and STSs :T:T If I've missed anyone please give me a shout
FrugalLina well done on the STS at a difficult time <<hugs>> Unfortunately this time of the year there always seems a backlog for funerals, my poor neighbour had to wait 7 weeks last year when his wife died just before ChristmasLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

Good evening everyone
Sillyvixen very well done on changing your lifestyle and making best use of even the worst weather.
Dumpling, Seekingflight congratulations on great weight loss, excellent work.. :j:j:j
Bfh how lovely to have a nice family weekend, good on you for enjoying it, and good for getting back onto the waggon so quickly.:)
Izadora Well done on your loss, even tho’ small, in spite of your good evening out. :j Good for you on managing to avoid alcohol-directed munchies. :T I hope you came through today with your resolve intact.
S_glover congratulations on an easier park run. Keep up your good work! And enjoy your spinning!
Sarahj sounds like a great time! Welcome back to “normal”.:)
FrugalLina good to see you, well done on supporting your loved ones at this difficult time. STS is brilliant given all you’ve got going on in your life.
Brambling thank you very much for keeping the chart up to date! What a lot of lovely smiling faces!
Janeybaby29 hello, sounds like a busy few months ahead of you!
So, today,
B: bacon & eggs
L: jacket potato with baked beans, tangerine
D vegetable soup, bolognaise with cauliflower, ginger yogurt
S: one oaty biscuit (at friend’s), one square of 85% chocolate
so far so good, but then I had half a bottle of (lower alcohol) wine, and a packet of dates left over from Christmas - which had been shoved into the cupboard and jumped out at me when I opened the door.
I hope I don’t have too high a price to pay .“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

A good day today, met with friends for lunch had a large salad with halloumi, very tasty. Lime and soda water to drink. After walked into town with friend, a couple of little purchases made but more importantly we were out for almost two hours walking and chatting.
When I got home made broccoli and cauliflower soup with garlic and herb cheese.
Took a lemsip before going out as have been suffering with stuffed head this worked well, no coughing or sneezing or head pain. Will get to bed shortly and hopefully have a good nights sleep.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
