Yes, it's an interesting read, I guess the challenge is whether I make the effort!

Hope everyone is well
I haven't updated for ages.
Still waiting for my ebay sale to be delivered, I just want to know it's arrived safely!
My car passed it's MOT, hurrah! No advisories either. So the bill including MOT and service was only a little over £200. Fab! I even gave it a good clean inside beforehand, so it feels quite luxurious at the moment.
I've had to buy little miss some new school dresses already! I did buy earlier this year, but bought a size up. However, she seems to have had a growth spurt and it's too difficult for her to change for PE etc without help, so I'm trying a different style. I'll give the existing ones to the school to sell on.
I'm back trying to lose weight. I read through this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007PRZN4Y/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 and am now working through it along with following SW. I think it's really going to help me as long as I stick to it. I started on Monday, and have stuck to plan 100%, not snacked and have not touched chocolate. Going back to the title of my diary, I've got to do something different if I want things to change. So I am following the steps in the book, recording what I am eating. I've also changed the measurement on my scales from stones to lbs. It's a really small change, but helps me, as I can't automatically translate the lbs into stones, so it doesn't depress me so much
It's early days, but I'm already down over 4lb which I know is likely fluid, but I'm not complaining! "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
4 lbs is great

I've found it a bit harder today but still stuck to plan, so I'm pleased. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

Definitely! I hope you enjoyed the Magnumbeanielou said:Some days are easier than others. She says eating a Magnum!!
I've struggled again today, but have mostly stuck to plan. Little miss found a packet of Wispa Golds in the cupboard, I didn't know I had them! I may have had one, but that's a miracle for me just stopping at one.
