It definitely is. I think I've put on this week as I haven't been following plan properly. However, I haven't been snacking and I haven't been eating loads of chocolate, so I'm pleased with that. If I can break the bad habits, then maybe I can focus more on the plan later.

Happy weekend everyone
We've got a quiet weekend at home this weekend, and I'm really looking forward to it. Apart from swimming tomorrow I plan on going nowhere.
So the plan for this weekend is just a bit of pottering around, some decluttering and some chilling out. I had an Iceland shop delivered this morning, and I plan on doing a meat order for the freezer. I've spent the last few weeks stocking up a bit so that I don't need to go out much this winter. We'll still go out for walks and stuff but not much otherwise. It would be really nice to get the house a lot more emptied by the spring.
I'm also starting my Christmas shopping, it will be nice to have that completed nice and early too, so I can just chill out
This week I managed to move all the shoes out to the porch. It means the hallway is nice and clear now, and we don't have to climb past piles of shoes and school bags when we come down the stairs. Another small thing that makes a massive difference!
DH has a load of listings prepped, so will try and get some of those done to encourage him to keep going.
The neighbours have dropped the bill in for the fence. DH will drop that off later. It was £170 so we were happy with that. It looks so much better, it was worth it.
Hope everyone has a good weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

I made a start on the airing cupboard yesterday. A few bits gone and a lot more space! I also solved the mystery of little jwil's missing school socks, finding them shoved in a box under his bed 🙄
The kids had fun yesterday going through the Smyth's catalogue choosing what they want for Christmas. I shall now whittle down the lists and start getting stuff in.
I did a Muscle Foods order yesterday so that should be here next week and the freezer will be full. Today I've done a bit of baking so we have fruit cake and tiffin.
I've done a few listings for DH, will try and get some more done later. He's finally tackling a pile of novelty books he wanted to look through before he got rid of them. That will clear some space on one of his bookshelves, and hopefully encourage him to do some of the other books (he's not a reader so they stick around forever).
My expensive item has finally been delivered, and I've received positive feedback, hurrah!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6
