Me too, it's so difficult."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1 -
I've been struggling a bit with my mood for a few days again now, which is concerning as I'm coming off my meds. I've not experienced any anxiety though which is really what they were treating, so I'm happy to continue that and work on the self help.
I've decided today that I'm going to give SW another 12 weeks (I started a countdown yesterday) and if I haven't lost 1/2 stone by then I'm going to give it up and carry on alone. I figured that as I've already got that time 'booked' out, I will instead use it for the gym or swimming which the SW fee will cover. I like the group and I like the plan, but if my head's not in the right place, then I'm just wasting my money and time. I'm happy to lose slowly - 1/2lb a week or so, but not losing at all, or gaining and losing the same weight is just depressing me.
I'm still trying though, not giving up. I've bought a smaller plate today to work on my portion sizes which should help.
I sold 4 items on ebay the other day which went for decent money :T
I've had quite a few surveys on PA this week which should also help when they are approved.
I did sit down yesterday and finish my financial spreadsheet so I now know what needs to be where and when :T I feel much happier about that now as well
Hope everyone has a good weekend"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1 -
It's hard to lose weight if your head isn't in the right place. Looking on the bright side the days are lengthening and that always helps to lift the mood. I couldn't get on with SW so I go to WW, I know you have to count points but it does give flexibility.
Even though you've put a bit of the lost weight back on you are lighter than you were this time last year. The social side of going to a meeting also means that you are you, not Mrs jwil, or mummy.

Have a good weekend.
It is hard. SW works for me in that it's closest to how I eat naturally so I don't find eating meals the SW way difficult. However, I struggle with grazing and eating too much chocolate. I'm ignoring the 'syns' at the moment, and my new plan is to try and tackle portion sizes and grazing. I'm trying to eat 3 decent meals and snack less.
You are right though, I am lighter and I have made some lovely friends at group and it does get me out each week.
Are you going to a WW group? Good luck with itHave a good weekend.

Feeling brighter this morning. It's clearly work that's putting me in a mood :rotfl: I also feel better with a plan in my head too.
I'm reading this book at the moment https://smile.amazon.co.uk/How-Retrain-Your-Appetite-permanently/dp/1911624474/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 , got it from the library, and it's really good. I think it will really help me address some of my eating issues and habits. Just looking it up now, I see it's £2.48 on Kindle, so I'm going to buy it with vouchers and it will mean I can keep referring back to it. It fits in with all the mindfullness and cbt stuff I've been working on so will really help me."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1 -
Really pleased that you're feeling more positive. That will help in your budgeting too I'm sure. Lucky you with getting plenty of prolific surveys, mine are thin on the ground!1

I love how even when you are struggling, you manage more progress than most with sales, spreadsheets etc. Makes me wonder if you have very high expectations of youMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Thank youPA is funny like that isn't it, other times other people say they are getting loads and I go weeks without doing one. It must be the way they select people.

That's really interesting, I don't think I do a lot at all. I definitely don't do as much as some on here!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1
