Thank you, you too :) xx

With regard to exercise it's finding something you enjoy, have time to do and can afford that's the trick. For example I hate team sports, but enjoy swimming and badminton. But I don't have time or money to do swimming or badminton. So I walk and do Pilates once a week as walking is free and Pilates is affordable and easy to get to.

What time of day would you be available to do exercise? It's fitting it into your daily life that's the hardest. I'm lucky that I can walk to work and back and have an active job. But if you need to drive to work and have a sedentary job it's much harder to fit exercise in. Could you go for a walk at lunchtime? That's the only time it's going to be light for the next few months. Or can you afford the gym or exercise classes after work?

Yes, that's my biggest challenge. Finding the time and motivation. I don't have the money to do what I'd like to do - Gym or swimming. I dislike 'going for a walk', though I don't mind walking 'to' somewhere. Also the times I'd be most likely to exercise are times that DH isn't here so I am with the kids. I have tried walking at lunchtime before but there's nowhere really to walk other than along a very busy road or business park.

All excuses though and I have to get past them and find something to do. Nothing will change unless I change it!

I listed 4 items for me yesterday :T One is selling already :T

I cashed out £6.50 on a survey site, and have reached cashout on another, though for that one I have to wait until they automatically transfer the cash. Hopefully it will be this month.

I also finished taking down the xmas decorations, finished sorting the kids clothing, and did their books :T I've put out all the baby books and all the books they show no interest in reading, so that's 31 gone. :T

I Jwil just refound your diary and you're already off the starting blocks. You are making loads of progress. I have a similar amount of weight to lose and last year reached my worst ever. Like you I need to turn that around. Good luck with SW and all your other goals.

  • Found you!! Happy new diary xx
  • I got a book out of the library about habits which is really interesting, apparently that is the way to change behaviour, rather than will power. I think there are some Ted talks about it. For me it is all a constant battle! (weight loss I mean).
