I have taken your advice, slowed down and made a list. I'm going to focus on the bits that I 'can' do, and then hopefully the things I am worrying about will become a bit clearer.
There is so much going on and everyone wants everything now. I can't do everything. I've managed to have a discussion with a few different people today and delayed a couple of things which helps a little.
So I'm a little calmer today thankfully!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
I took advantage of that tails.com offer in the weekly email last week. That has arrived today. A month's worth of dog food for £4! It seems to have good reviews so will see how the dog likes it.
I've also ordered DH's birthday pressies, very organised!
At the weekend I want to get the rest of the school uniform while we are getting the shoes, so I must make a list for that.
I'm going to take a long lunch break tomorrow and spend some time with the kids. I'll get up early to make up the hours. I'm then going to take the next couple of Thursdays off.
My scales say I have lost nearly 2lb. Yesterday and today I have been off the healthy eating so better get back on it again to maintain that loss.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -

Thank you both
I'm glad it's the weekend now. This weekend we are sorting out the rest of the school uniform. Kids have an appointment to get their shoes fitted tomorrow. I must check what I still need. Not much thankfully.
I changed all the beds this morning ahead of the heatwave. I thought it would be a good day to get it all dried, and there's been heavy showers all afternoon! I'm not looking forward to the stuffy nights, I haven't been sleeping well anyway.
I've booked the next two Thursday's off at work, so I'll be able to spend the day with the kids. Yesterday's lunch break didn't happen as there was too much going on. My boss is on leave next week, so hopefully i'll get some peace to catch up with things.
The covid app has asked me to do a test as I reported some of the symptoms on the list yesterday (stomach ache). I think it was anxiety related not anything else, but I'll get it done anyway. It helps for the national picture.
I need to do a new SOA for next month. I might actually be able to start paying a little more to the debtsI won't go too crazy as I want to save up for F&F settlements. I need to also make sure I'm putting the right amount away monthly for the annual bills, I'm not doing that at the moment. I need to MOT my car in early Oct as well, as it was extended earlier this year.

We've been in town today and got everything we need for the kids, including some clothes and shoes for home as well as they had grown out of them. Spent a fortune but it's all done now. I ordered online the last couple of bits that I couldn't get in town.
I've sent a message to my doctor online about my knee as it's still very painful and it's almost 2 months since I had the fall. I'll see what they reply next week.
Melting here, so not done much this afternoon!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
