Swimming lessons went really well yesterday. Only two children in little miss's group, and 6 in little jwil's. I'm sure it will get busier, but both were so happy to be back. Little jwil had such a beam on his face. He came up to me after and said he really wants to go back to school. I think it brought home how much they are missing out on.
I didn't really do a lot otherwise yesterday.
I need to do my end of month update. I'll try and get that done tomorrow. I'm contemplating booking a day off a week for the rest of the summer, so I can do something with the kids on the day they are both home. I'll have to consider my workload as it's all mounting up. I do have a week and a half off at the end of the month, but little miss wants to stay in nursery til the end.
Still really impressed with the period pants. I bought two different styles so am testing the other one today. The one yesterday lasted all day, no leaks or anything. I agree, the kids know it's non negotiable until they can swim two lengths of the big pool. I'm having a bit of a stress today. I'm feeling very overwhelmed and out of my depth. I need to try and calm down and take a breath and think things through, but there is so much that needs to be done now! I'm not sleeping as I'm worrying about work.
