I'd happily stay home, but it's not fair on the kids, particularly little jwil who isn't out and about at all.

Swimming lessons went really well yesterday. Only two children in little miss's group, and 6 in little jwil's. I'm sure it will get busier, but both were so happy to be back. Little jwil had such a beam on his face. He came up to me after and said he really wants to go back to school. I think it brought home how much they are missing out on.
I didn't really do a lot otherwise yesterday.
I need to do my end of month update. I'll try and get that done tomorrow. I'm contemplating booking a day off a week for the rest of the summer, so I can do something with the kids on the day they are both home. I'll have to consider my workload as it's all mounting up. I do have a week and a half off at the end of the month, but little miss wants to stay in nursery til the end.
Still really impressed with the period pants. I bought two different styles so am testing the other one today. The one yesterday lasted all day, no leaks or anything. I'm having a bit of a stress today. I'm feeling very overwhelmed and out of my depth. I need to try and calm down and take a breath and think things through, but there is so much that needs to be done now! I'm not sleeping as I'm worrying about work. I'm ready to chuck it all in, though just scrolling through jobs tonight highlights that I should definitely not do that."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
