Chrystal said:That's brilliant jwil. Was thinking about the postage delay etc. Is it possible to put a caveat in the description saying you can't be held responsible for postal delays?
It wouldn't make any difference as ebay would just allow them to open a case as soon as delivery date is passed. I have extended my despatch time to 5 working days which will give almost a week. I've also used a courier so at least it's fully tracked rather than just the delivery confirmation you get with RM.

Hey everyone
Everything has been packed and nearly all collected by courier this morning. One person cancelled their order and still waiting for 2 to pay up. It's a lot of stuff gone now though, hurrah!
Work has gone mental. Over 300 emails to answer this morning, I spent all day on it, and it's still 300 this evening! I did 100 odd, and colleagues were in there too. They are coming in as fast as we can answer. Not a lot else being achieved.
I have some more listing to do for DH so will try and get that on later this week.
The news yesterday about nursery and schools presumably means my time of being rich is at an endNursery are still open for key workers, so if they are allowed to open generally they will be expecting us to pay even if I don't send little miss back. Little jwil is hoping he'll be able to go back to school as well but wont be in the first phase.
We'll have to see what happens with the furlough too for DH, I'm glad it's been extended, but will wait to see the detail.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
Not much to report today, another busy day at work.
DH says our back fence is broken, so we may need to dip into the house fund to get it fixed. I think it's owned by the house behind though as it looks that way from our deeds so he might go and speak to them first."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Great news on ebaying 44 items. Glad you didn't have to queue at a post office for all them either.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Luckily it looks like they've nearly all been delivered today as well, so my concerns about delays did not happen!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
As it looks like most items have been delivered from the ebay batch, I shall relist now and try and get some more on too.
Another busy day at work, but I'll do my own work tomorrow so a day off from emails, hurrah!
I'm looking forward to the weekend. I keep contemplating booking half term off. I was due to have it anyway (I'll have to check I haven't already booked it) but obviously don't need to for childcare purposes. It would be nice to have a week off though, especially if everyone is likely to start going back in June."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I am working from home too - it is nice to just have a break without having to think about work.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
