I think we need to set mini-est jwil on your dh more often. She's more effective than you. She's the queen of decluttering. I bet she was nagging away. She's brilliant. I've always thought you held the crown but she motivates all of you. Actually, could you send her round? I think I need her in my house.
Brilliant updates all over. Very pleased for you xxx

Lots of fab progress there. Glad you were able to relax too.

Payday today.  I haven't done any of the money shuffling so will do it tomorrow.

Everyone here has a stinking cold apart from me, so I'm hoping, but not expecting to avoid it!

We had a power cut this morning, and since then haven't been able to put the you view box back on.  Dr Google suggests it might be critical and we've probably lost our recordings.  I don't think there was anything on there that I probably couldn't find elsewhere.  I've grabbed the fire stick from the other TV so we can still access the apps and iplayer etc, so I think we'll be ok without replacing it.  I might just get another fire stick or something as it's handy having access to it all on both.

My kindle battery seems to be dying too.  It's not holding charge at all at the moment.  I've had it since 2010 so it's done me well.  I'm hoping I can keep it going until Christmas and then DH says he'll get me a replacement.  I can use the Ipad if I get desperate, but I prefer the kindle as it doesn't feel like a screen in the same way as the tablet does.  I've also got loads of books on there which I haven't bought through amazon, so I don't want it to die until I've got through those as it will be a faff getting them on a new device.

Good luck sorting out your kindle and tv. Not what you need as you are trying to relax into a weekend.

Thank you, it's sod's law isn't it.  Everything at once! It's still working at the moment, just battery needs charging daily.  Hopefully it will continue that way.

DH wants to get another you view box as he'd only just figured out how to use the last one (we've had it 9ish years!).  He's not technologically minded, and the fire stick is probably a step too far.  Just trying to work out whether it's better value to buy one or sign up to a tv package again with BT (means I could cancel some of my streaming subscriptions).

Another quiet weekend planned (my favourite type!).  I want to tidy, see what we can do in the small room, and chill out.  Little jwil has a Halloween party to go to, and little miss desperately wants to go trick or treating.  I hate the idea, so may persuade DH to take her.

Just doing the financials.  Bulb looks like it's going down in the next week or so, so I shall make sure I've done all my meter readings.  I've got a record of my balance as well.  It's a real shame as I've been really happy with them.  My monthly payment has been reasonable and I've been able to top up my account if needed.
