My meeting went well yesterday, I didn't get savaged thankfully!
My car had it's MOT yesterday, and I've just got it back today. Only one small issue which has been resolved, and bill less than £250 for MOT and Service. I'm very relieved about that! I've advisories for two tyres, so I'll get them done soon before winter kicks in.
I have reached £25 on one poll today so will pay that to the mortgage when it arrives."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

Thank goodness it's the weekend!
It's been a hard and busy week and I just want to chill this weekend again.
I had to take little miss to the dentist this morning as she has damaged her tooth. He said it's died and to leave it in until it falls out naturally unless it gets painful or changes. That's a relief. Then it was back to back meetings all day which is just wrong on a Friday
I'm back at the evening event on Monday again, but not having to present this time, so that's a relief!
I've just finished reading another book on 9/11 about the twin towers. It is an account of what happened within the towers. It's so powerful to read. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0099492563/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0 I've been up the twin towers, but I still find the scale difficult to comprehend. It's so strange to know that those of us glued to the tv in the UK knew more about what was happening than those in the towers themselves.

Happy Saturday!
I'm just doing some ebay listing and am going to have a pottering around day. I'm trying to focus on small patches and give them a good tidy, sort and clean. Hopefully those small little patches will eventually add up to a big tidy clean house!
I'm hoping that DH will resume his decluttering as that seems to have slowed. I need to keep up with his listings, as that will more likely encourage him.
Little miss is making a birthday card for a relative, I'm sorting out my bits, and then they can go in the post once little jwil has done his. I've just ordered a new home gift and card as well.
I want to make a list of what I still need to get for Christmas. I've got a fair bit and I want to be organised early so I can just chill out. I did it last year and it was so nice to just relax in December, and not worry about hitting the crowds.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
Morning everyone. Little miss has decided to have a week off parkrun (I think little jwil persuaded her
) I'm not complaining!
She took it upon herself to have a bit of a declutter yesterday, so we have some books, soft toys and other toys to go, hurrah! I still need them both to do some more though, there is so much they just don't play with any more.
I tidied up a few areas yesterday, put a couple of bits away that have been hanging around for a while, and finished a few books that I had started.
I was looking to purchase something online to store wrapping paper in, but then found a box I can use instead, so saved some money there
I need to sort out a troll and a wizard costume for tomorrow, so have printed a mask for little jwil to colour. We can make the rest out of stuff we have here hopefully.
Have a good day"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -
18 listings done between today and yesterday. DH also has 7 items currently selling, so that's some more leaving.
The kids have sorted out another box so some more to go. Progress!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
The troll and witch costumes sound fun.
