Oh thank you all, you are fab! Just looking at FB marketplace and there are some potentials on there! I just need to convince DH now.
We are heading into town today, hopefully will dodge the showers. I'm probably going to try and get the kid's school shoes while we are in so that will be expensive! I think I need to lie down. I've spent £200 on shoes today 😱 That's a pair of school shoes each, a pair of trainers each, a pair of daps for little miss, and three pairs of wellies - one each for school (they do forest school) and a pair for little miss at home.
I had a browse on FB and there is a set of sofas very similar to ours being given away for free. I asked about it and they are currently promised to someone but if they don't show, then we can have them. They are a little worn, but much better condition than ours, so will very much do for now. I'm not hopeful, but we'll see.
