Well the roast dinner style cottage pie worked out ok.
Just trying to finish DH's listings, that will be 21 listings done.
I've been invited to a meeting on Monday relating to the project. I haven't decided if I will attend, will see what I'm doing otherwise."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
That's great.
I think the 15 minute thing works really well.
It works really well for me too

Sorry that's me waffling. It's the work project that I've had to dip into this week. It's trying to get stuff signed off, which is really helpful when I'm on leave! (I knew it was happening when I booked the leave and said I was able to dip in and out if I need to).beanielou said:What's the project?

I was just browsing ebay to see if I could find some cheap second hand sofas. Nothing local sadly. When I cleaned ours today, I realised that what was a worn patch on one is now a big hole! They are both very old and worn now, so we need to replace them, but I don't really want to spend a lot!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I know its not the best advice but I really rate ikea sofas and they're not as expensive as everywhere else. I'm on my second one. This one has removable covers so I can chuck it in the machine.

Try fr33cycle for sofa and furniture charities
Good thinking about freecycle. The furniture charities mostly supply low income households locally, but there are a couple of charity shops (I think!) which sell furniture.
No it is good advice, because if we can't find a decent second hand one, we'll have to buy new at some point.
