As it's payday tomorrow, I've done the finances. I do have to put some of my pots back tomorrow due to my spendiness but it's less than last month, so I'll take that as a win!
I'm not sure how next month will go as I do want to take the kids out a bit, so will be spending on fuel and possibly some entry fees, but we've got lots of free activities planned, so it shouldn't be too bad.
I put a deposit down for a birthday party for little miss. It's not til November, but seemed to be booking up quickly. We do them one party each, and then in future it will just be days out, or something with their close friends."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I finished watching Virgin River, which I enjoyed, although it was rather overdramatic! I've started reading the book now.
I've also started watching Twin Peaks which I never saw first time round. It's rather weird to say the least!
I'm also reading the Dr Dolittle books which we found in the box of books a few months ago. It's the complete series. I remember reading at least the first one when I was a kid, but have maybe read a few more as some of them seem familiar. They are nice, but a bit cringey in places with the racism!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy weekend everyone
I'm on swimming duty this weekend, and it's so nice to have it over and done with early. We're taking the kids out today so fingers crossed we can tire them out a bit! Little miss has been very hard work this week, so it will be good for them to get out and about.
It's our 13th wedding anniversary today. We're going to splash out on a takeaway later.
I've paid all the bills now, just waiting for the DDs to come out now. I'm hoping not to dip into the pots so much this month - I can use the money that I would normally spend on afterschool club for holiday activities, so I'm going to try and break the worst of my spendy habits!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
